4/1/14 – Medical Emergency – An ambulance was requested for a female with a possible concussion.  Valley Ambulance was notified and transported the female student to the Beaver Medical Center for treatment. (Closed)

4/1/14 – Lost Property – A student reported losing a camera in Yorktown Hall.  All pertinent information was obtained and the student was advised they would be notified if the camera is found. (Closed)

4/1/14 – Theft – This department received a report of a chair missing from Wheatley Center.  The cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate any suspect/s involved. (Open)

4/3/14 – Accident – A student reported backing into a parked vehicle in the parking lot of Yorktown Hall.  All pertinent information was obtained and pictures were taken of the damage to both cars.  Both parties exchanged information and a report was written for insurance purposes. (Closed)

4/3/14 – Power Outage – Due to a motor vehicle accident on University Boulevard, a brief power outage occurred at Yorktown Hall.  Power was restored without incident. (Closed)

4/3/14 – Departmental Information – This department was advised of a student falling in the interior stairwell of Adams Hall.  The stairwell was wet due to the roof hatch being left open in the building.  The student refused any medical treatment. (Closed)

4/4/14 – Failure to Stop – Officers viewed a vehicle fail to stop at a stop sign outside of Sewall Center on Campus Drive.  The driver was issued a citation for a stop sign violation. (Closed)

4/4/14 – Medical Emergency – A Parkhurst employee slipped outside of the kitchen at Sewall Center.  Valley Ambulance responded, but the employee refused medical treatment. (Closed)

4/4/14 – Recovered Property – A Coraopolis police officer found a student’s freedom card, and turned it over to this department.  The student was notified that his card was being stored at the Barry Center for him to retrieve. (Closed)

4/4/14 – Student Conduct – One student and three guests were found to be in possession of alcohol and under the age of twenty-one in Yorktown Hall.  The student was sent through Judicial Affairs, and the three non-students were issued trespass warnings for all University property. (Closed)

4/4/14 – Theft – A patron at the ISC reported their I Phone taken a table outside of the skate rental area.  The cameras were reviewed and do to the distance and number of people in the area at the time, the area in question is not visible.  A report was taken for insurance purposes. (Open)

4/5/14 – Traffic Stop – A traffic stop was initiated on Campus Drive for a driver failing to stop at a stop sign.  The driver was issued a citation for a stop sign violation. (Closed)

4/5/14 – Student Conduct – While patrolling Yorktown Hall and officer found furniture blocking the doorway to a room.  The items were removed and the cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate and suspect/s. (Closed)

4/5/15 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a tracking stop for failure to stop at a stop sign.  A written warning was issued to the driver. (Closed)

4/5/15 – Public Drunkeness – A female student was cited for public drunkenness outside of Sewall Center during the Spring Fling dance.  The female was cited and transported to the Coraopolis Police department for lodging. (Closed)

4/6/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined that the alarm was a false activation.  Maintenance was notified. (Closed)

4/6/14 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Colonial Way.  A citation was issued to the driver for obedience to traffic control devices. (Closed)

4/6/14 – Theft – A student attending the Spring Fling dance reported their I Phone 5S and Freedom Card taken from a table inside Sewall Center.  A report was issued and this incident is currently under investigation. (Open)

4/6/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall.  Upon officers arrival the cause for the alarm was burnt food.  The officers reset the alarm. (Closed)

4/6/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Hancock Hall.  Upon officers arrival the building was checked with negative results.  The officers reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

4/7/14 – Accident – A vehicle hydroplaned and slid into a curb outside the Nicholson loading dock. No injuries were sustained, and a tow truck was called to remove the vehicle for the owner. (Closed)

4/7/14 – Departmental Information – This department assisted Residence Life with an unregistered student staying in Lexington Hall.  The unregistered student left without incident and both parties will be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)
