4/8/14 – Medical Emergency – Parkhurst reported an employee falling and needing medical attention.  The employee tripped, fell and landed on their hip.  Valley Ambulance was notified, but medical treatment was refused by the employee. (Closed)

4/8/14 – Student Conduct – This department was advised of a student burning clothes outside of Braddock Hall.  The clothes were extinguished and the student was advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for their actions. (Closed)

4/9/14 – Suspicious Person – This department was notified of a male sharpening a knife outside of John Jay Center.  The male was located and was unaware that he was not permitted to have a knife on campus.  The knife was secured, and the student was released back to class. (Closed)

4/9/14 – Medical Emergency – Parkhurst reported an employee passing out in the Nicholson kitchen.  Valley Ambulance was notified and transported the patient to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

4/9/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined the cause was burnt food.  The alarm panel was reset by the officers. (Closed)

4/9/14 – Theft – Two patrons at the ISC reported items taken from locker room four.  A report was taken and this incident is currently under investigation. (Open)

4/10/14 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation.  A citation was issued to the driver for failure to stop at a stop sign. (Closed)

4/10/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined the cause was burnt food.  Officers reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

4/10/14 – Departmental Information – This department assisted Residence Life with removing a non-registered guest from Lexington Hall.  The guest left the hall without incident. (Closed)

4/11/14 – Departmental Information – A student wanted a report on file that the mailroom issued his mailbox to another student. (Closed)

4/11/14 – Recovered Property – An iPhone was turned into officers while at Yorktown Hall.  Shortly after receiving the phone, the owner came to retrieve it. (Closed)

4/11/14 – Departmental Information – While patrolling Yorktown Hall and officer noticed several unsecured doors, leading into areas that access should not be available.  The doors were secured by the officer. (Closed)

4/11/14 – Assist Another Agency – This department assisted Carnegie Mellon University PD with information on one of our students that was arrested by their department. (Closed)

4/11/14 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Salem Hall.  Officers responded and found the alarm panel reading “ground fault loop”.  The alarm was reset and maintenance was advised. (Closed)

4/11/14 – Underage Drinking – Residence Life reported a possible underage party in Gallatin Hall.  Officers responded and three citations were issued for underage drinking. (Closed)

4/11/14 – Student Conduct – Officers responded to Gallatin Hall for a report of underage drinking.  All parties present did have alcohol but none was consumed.  This was verified by a PBT.  All parties were advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

4/12/14 – Property Damage – While conducting a patrol through Washington Hall, an officer found a dryer damaged.  Maintenance was notified and a report was written for investigative purposes. (Closed)

4/12/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined the cause was burnt pizza.  Officers reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

4/12/14 – Medical Emergency – A pop up tent fell over at the ISC during a track meet and struck a patron photographing the event.  The patron complained of back and neck pain, and was transported to Mercy Hospital by Northwest EMS. (Closed)

4/12/14 – Underage Drinking – This department was advised of a fire on the hillside below Massey Hall.  Further investigation lead officers to find a male student and a female non-student with a campfire.  Alcohol was present and only the male tested positive for alcohol.  The male was cited for underage drinking, public intoxication and disorderly conduct.  The female was issued a trespass warning for the university. 4/13/14- Underage Drinking – While patrolling Yorktown Hall an officer viewed damage done in the hallways.  After review of the cameras, four suspects were identified.  All four were cited for underage drinking, and public intoxication.  All parties were taken to Coraopolis PD for lodging until sober. (Closed)

4/13/14 – Underage Drinking – This department was advised of a loud party in Concord Hall.  Five students were cited for underage drinking, along with being sent through Judicial Affairs. (Closed)

4/13/14 – Lost Property – A student reported a coat left behind in the Yorktown food court.  All pertinent information was taken and if the coat turns up the student was advised they would be contacted by this department. (Closed)

4/13/14 – Welfare Check – This department was requested by the Crisis Center to stand by while they are speaking with a student.  Officers stood by without incident. (Close)

4/13/14 – Departmental Information – This department assisted a student with access to the photo lab in Wheatley Hall. (Closed)

4/13/14 – Lost Property – A student came to the station to file a report for a lost wallet.  All pertinent information was obtained, and the student was advised they would be contacted if the wallet were turned into this department. (Closed)

4/13/14 – Trespass Warning – This department assisted Residence Life in removing a non-registered student from Washington Hall.  The non-student left without incident. (Closed)
