10/7/14 – Property Damage – An officer found the exit sign on the seventh floor of Yorktown hall.  Maintenance was notified. (Closed)

10/7/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Yorktown hall.  Upon officers arrival the cause was determined to be an electronic cigarette.  Maintenance was on scene and the alarm was reset. (Closed)

10/7/14 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Braddock hall, failure to connect signal.  Maintenance was notified of the alarm. (Closed)

10/8/14 – Missing Property – The University Band reported items missing from their storage room in the John Jay Center.  A report was taken and an investigation is underway. (Open)

10/8/14 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop in the Sewall Center parking lot.  The stop ended with the driver receiving citations for no insurance, expired inspection and registration, along with a written warning for stop sign violation. (Closed)

10/8/14 – Smell of Marijuana – While on foot patrol at Yorktown hall, an officer detected an odor of marijuana in the parking lot.  The lot was checked with negative results. (Closed)

10/10/14 – Found Property – Residence life turned in a small bag containing various pills found in the stairwell of Monroe hall.  The pills were taken into evidence and held until recovered by the owner. (Closed)

10/10/14 – Student Conduct – Residence life contacted this department for a possible party in Washington hall.  Upon officers arrival there was alcohol present and all parties involved were advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

10/10/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Yorktown hall.  Upon arrival to the room were the alarm was activated, it was found that the smoke detector was removed from the wall causing the alarm.  Maintenance replaced the detector and reset the alarm. (Closed)

10/10/14 – Assist Another Agency – This department advised Moon Twp. Police of a possible DUI driver. (Closed)

10/10/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student experiencing some type of allergic reaction at Health Services.  Valley Ambulance was contacted and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital. (Closed)

10/10/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem hall.  Officers responded and found the alarm panel reading “UDACT acknowledge”, Maintenance was notified and reset the alarm. (Closed)

10/10/14 – Trouble Alarm – This department received multiple trouble alarms activated in Salem hall for a phone line malfunction.  Maintenance was notified and responded. (Closed)

10/10/14 – Missing Property – This department was notified by Residence Life of laundry missing from the Salem hall laundry room.  This incident is currently under investigation. (Open)

10/11/14 – Theft – The coach for the Pittsburgh Ice reported one of his player’s bags missing from a locker room at the ISC.  A report was issued and the incident is under investigation. (Open)

10/12/14 – Property Damage – An officer found the exit sign in the John Jay Center lobby hanging from its wires.  Maintenance was notified. (Closed)

10/12/14 – Recovered Property – While on patrol in Yorktown, hall and officer found a projector belonging to Media Services.  The projector was taken and secured in the police office at Yorktown. (Closed)

10/12/14 – Theft – A student reported their laundry taken out of a Yorktown laundry room.  This incident is currently under investigation. (Open)

10/12/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined that the cause for the alarm was burnt food. (Closed)

10/12/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem hall with no point of activation.  Officers checked the building with negative results.  The alarm system reset itself; maintenance was notified to check the system. (Closed)

10/12/14 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Campus Drive for a stop sign violation.  The driver was issued a citation and released. (Closed)

10/12/14 – Lost Property – A Samsung Galaxy S4 cell phone was turned into this department.  The owner was contacted and retrieved the phone. (Closed)

10/13/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem hall with no point of activation.  Maintenance was notified and responded to evaluate the alarm. (Closed)

10/13/14 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Campus Drive for a stop sign violation.  The driver was issued a citation and released. (Closed)

10/13/14 – Theft – An ISC employee reported two hockey nets taken from the outside rinks.  This case is currently under investigation. (Open)
