1/13/16 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention in Salem Hall.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

1/14/16 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention in the Wheatley Center.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

1/14/16 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention.  Officers responded and spoke with the student involved.  Arraignments were made for the student to speak with a University Counselor. (Closed)

1/15/16 – Student Conduct – Officers were advised of a party in Monroe Hall.  All parties involved were cooperative and advised they will be sent through Student Conduct for their actions. (Closed)

1/14/16 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Yorktown Hall.  Officers responded and found he cause to be an e-cigarette.  The student responsible was advised they would be sent through Student Conduct. (Closed)

1/15/16 – Smell of Marijuana – Officers were notified of a smell of marijuana on the third floor of Yorktown Hall.  Officers were able to determine where the smell was coming from and the student involved will be dealt with through Student Conduct. (Closed)

1/15/16 – Recovered Property – A maintenance cleaner turned in a cell phone found in the Jefferson Center.  The owner was notified and claimed their property. (Closed)

1/15/16 – Smell of Marijuana – Officers were notified of a smell of marijuana in Adams Hall.  Officers checked the building and could not detect any odor. (Closed)

1/15/16 – Student Conduct – Officers were called to Salem Hall for a loud party.  All occupants were cooperative, two non-students were removed, and two underage referrals were sent to Student Conduct. (Closed)

1/15/16 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Marshall Hall.  All parties involved were cooperative and advised they will be sent through Student Conduct. (Closed)

1/16/16 – Smell of Marijuana – Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Marshall Hall.  Officers checked the room in question and the residents will be sent through Student Conduct. (Closed)

1/16/16 – Missing Property – A student reported misplacing their Freedom Card.  All necessary information was obtained and a report was issued. (Closed)

1/16/16 – Accident – Officers were notified of an accident in the CFL parking lot.  All necessary information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)

1/16/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Braddock Hall.  Officers responded and found maintenance on scene checking the system.  Officers cleared, and advised maintenance to contact this department if any assistance was needed. (Closed)

1/16/16 – Departmental Information – A student reported fraudulent use of their credit card that occurred at two off campus locations.  The student was advised to contact the Police Department in the area that the charges were made, a report was issued for information purposes by this department at this time. 1/16/16 – Student Conduct – Officers were called to Lexington Hall for a noise complaint.  The noise was found to be a party with several underage students present.  All present were advised they will be sent through Student Conduct for their action. (Closed)

1/17/16 – Disorderly Conduct – Officers were called to a party in Washington Hall.  While there an occupant of the party fled and returned to their residence hall being Gallatin Hall.  Officers located the student who was issued four citations. (Closed)

1/17/16 – Student Conduct – Officers responded to Washington Hall for a report of a party. All occupants were under the age of twenty-one and were advised they will be sent through Student Conduct for their actions. (Closed)

1/17/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Concord Hall.  Officers responded and found the cause to be the residents cooking.  Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm. (Closed)

1/17/16 – Suspicious Person – Complainant reported a large group on non-students in the John Jay Gym.  Officers responded and advised the group they are not permitted on the property, failure to comply will result in arrest if they return.  The group left without incident. (Closed)

1/17/16 – Student Conduct – Officers were called to Salem Hall for a smell of marijuana.  Officers located the room in question, resulting in the occupants being sent through Student Conduct as well as one citation issued. (Closed)

1/18/16 – Departmental Information – An employee reported slipping and falling on an icy sidewalk on their way to their car.  Injures were sustained to the right hand and knee and a possible broken nose.  A report was taken for the incident. (Closed)

1/19/16 – Departmental Information – An employee reported their purse stolen at an off campus location, with her Freedom Card inside.  A report was issued for the stolen Freedom Card. (Closed)

1/19/16 – Suspicious Vehicle – This department was advised of a suspicious vehicle outside of Wheatley Center.  Officers checked the vehicle and it was an employee of Parkhurst on their break. (Closed)

1/19/16 – Departmental Information – This department was notified of a disabled vehicle by Scaife Hall.  The vehicle owner called a tow truck, and the vehicle was removed. (Closed)

1/20/16 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported a student with drug paraphernalia in their room.  Officers responded with Residence Life and recovered the paraphernalia.  The student involved was advised they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions. (Closed)

1/20/16 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported a student who is on the PNG list in Washington Hall.  Officers responded and were unable to locate the student.  The cameras were reviewed and the student was located in the building.  Incident sent through Student Conduct. (Closed)

1/20/16 – Booted Vehicle – A vehicle was booted for outstanding fines.  The owner paid the fines and the boot was removed. (Closed)

1/20/16 – Medical Emergency – This department was notified of a student needing medical attention in Ross Hall.  Valley Ambulance responded and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

1/20/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble activated in Hale Center.  Officers and Maintenance responded and found nothing wrong in the building.  Maintenance reset the alarm system. (Closed)

1/21/16 – Suspicious Incident – An anonymous caller reported something suspicious with one of the shuttle drivers.  Officers spoke to both drivers on shift and did not find anything related to the callers report. (Closed)

1/21/16 – Suicide – This department was notified of a body found in the woods.  Officers confirmed the call and notified the Allegheny County Police to take over the investigation. (Closed)

1/22/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Massey Way.  The driver was issued a citation and released. (Closed)

1/22/16 – Student Conduct – Residence Life informed this department of a roommate dispute with possible threats made.  An investigation was conducted and met with negative results.  Both parties were advised to have no further contact. (Closed)

1/23/16 – Suspicious Person – A report was made of a suspicious male in Yorktown Hall.  Officers checked and found the person to be a student waiting for a friend.  No further action needed. (Closed)

1/24/16 – Medical Emergency – Officers contacted Valley Ambulance for a highly intoxicated male.  Valley transported the male to Sewickley Hospital for treatment.  One citation issued. (Closed)

1/24/16 – DUI – Officers conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle without its headlights on.  The stop ended with the driver being under the influence of alcohol and receiving a DUI. (Closed)

1/25/16 – Traffic Stop – A traffic stop was conducted for a driver failing to use their turn signal.  Two citations were issued to the driver because of the stop. (Closed)
