3/15/16 – Harassment – Residence Life advised of a harassment complaint between two students.  Both parties involved were advised to stop their actions and have no further contact.  Both parties agreed nothing further at this time. (Closed)

3/15/16 – Retail Theft – Parkhurst reported a student taking food without paying at Romo’s Café’.  This incident is under investigation at this time. (Open)

3/16/16 – Assist Another Agency – This department assisted Moon Township Police with a disabled vehicle on University Blvd. (Closed)

3/17/16 – Assist Another Agency – Moon Township Police requested a female officer to assist in searching a female prisoner.  An officer responded and assisted without incident. (Closed)

3/17/16 – Departmental Information – CFS requested assistance with traffic after an event.  Officers assisted with traffic until it was clear. (Closed)

3/17/16 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall.  Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food.  Maintenance was notified and reset the alarm system. (Closed)

3/18/16 – Departmental Information – Facilities reported a malfunction with the alarm system in Hale Center, and that a repair order has been submitted with Guardian.  The alarm system still functions properly but continues to report a trouble signal. (Closed)

3/18/16 – Student Conduct – An officer on patrol witnessed students outside drinking.  The officer approached the students and advised them that drinking is not permitted outside on campus, that you must be twenty-one and in your room only.  The group packed up and left the area without incident. (Closed)

3/18/16 – Welfare Check – An officer was reviewing the cameras and found a male face down on a couch in Massey Hall.  Officers responded to check on the male and found him to be sleeping, while waiting for practice to start. (Closed)

3/18/16 – Suspicious Person – This department received a complaint of non-students using the John Jay Gym.  Officers responded, identified the non-students, and advised them the gym is for students only.  The group left without incident. (Closed)

3/18/16 – Departmental Information – This department is currently investigating a possible harassment situation reported by a student. (Open)

3/19/16 – Disorderly Conduct – An officer located an occupied vehicle parked behind Yorktown Hall.  While checking on the occupants an officer detected an odor of marijuana.  Both occupants (non-students) were advised they would be receiving citations for the marijuana and trespass warnings for all University owned properties. (Closed)

3/19/16 – Found Property – A Freedom Card was turned into this department, a message was left for the owner advising them their card was turned into this department. (Closed)

3/19/16 – DUI – An officer conducted a traffic stop after almost being struck by another vehicle.  The traffic stop concluded with the driver being impaired and charged with DUI. (Closed)

3/20/16 – Assist Another Agency – Moon Township Police requested a female officer to assist in searching a female prisoner.  An officer responded and assisted without incident. (Closed)

3/20/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop for a vehicle with a disabled headlight.  The driver was given a verbal warning for the violation and advised to have it repaired. (Closed)

3/20/16 – Departmental Information – An officer found a tree down in the Colonial Way parking lot.  The officer was able to move the tree out of the roadway, and notified maintenance. (Closed)

3/20/16 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall.  The officers determined the cause to be burnt food.  Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system. (Closed)

3/20/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Lexington Hall.  The cause was determined to be due to the resident taking a shower.  Maintenance was contacted and reset the system. (Closed)

3/20/16 – Damage To Unattended Vehicle – A student reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the Yorktown Parking lot.  Pictures were taken of the damage and a report was issued for insurance purposes at this time. (Closed)

3/20/16 – Welfare Check – A parent contacted this department and requested we locate their child they have been unable to contact.  The parent called back and advised they made contact, and needed no further assistance. (Closed)

3/21/16 – Accident – This department was advised of a two-vehicle accident in the Scaife Hall parking lot.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)

3/21/16 – Departmental Property Damage – An officer found that someone keyed the hood of patrol unit 704, causing deep scratches in the paint and striping of the vehicle. (Closed)

3/21/16 – Assist Another Agency – An officer assisted Moon Twp. Police with a traffic stop on campus. (Closed)

3/23/16 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention.  Valley Ambulance was called and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

3/23/16 – Fire Alarm – Moon Township dispatch reported a fire alarm activated in Madison Hall.  Officers responded and found the cause to be a hair straightener.  Moon Twp. Fire Department was advised to cancel their response, and maintenance reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

3/23/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle with an expired temporary license plate.  The driver was issued three citations, and released. (Closed)

3/23/16 – Departmental Information – A student turned in a found Freedom Card to this department.  The owner was contacted and advised to pick up their card. (Closed)

3/24/16 – Missing Property – A student came to the Police Department and reported items missing from their room.  This incident is under investigation at this time. (Open)

3/24/16 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention at Joe Walton Stadium.  Valley Ambulance was notified and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

3/24/16 – Departmental Information – This department assisted in making contact with a counselor at the request of a student. (Closed)

3/27/16 – Missing Property – A maintenance employee reported a keyboard missing from the study room in Yorktown Hall.  This incident is under investigation at this time. (Closed)

3/27/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Salem Hall, which has restored.  Officers responded and confirmed the system was reading normal.  Maintenance was notified to check the alarm system. (Closed)

3/27/16 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food.  Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system. (Closed)

3/27/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Salem Hall, which has restored.  Officers responded and confirmed the system was reading normal.  Maintenance was notified to check the alarm system. (Closed)

3/28/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop for a stop sign violation.  The driver ended up receiving four citations at the conclusion of the stop, and was released. (Closed)

3/28/16 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention in Yorktown Hall.  Officers responded along with Valley Ambulance Authority.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

3/28/16 – Suspicious Incident – A student came to the Police Department to report a suspicious incident at the Jefferson Center.  All pertinent information was obtained and an officer is investigating the accusation. (Open)

3/28/16 – Assist Another Agency – Sewickley PD, put out a BOLO for a missing person.  A report was generated to make officers aware, of the situation. (Closed)

3/28/16 – Simple Assault – This department is investigating a report of a simple assault case between two students.  (Open)
