Ellen Lichius
Ellen is a junior economics major with international business and theatre minors at Robert Morris University. She is the Assistant Opinion Editor and a staff writer for “The Sentry.”
Ellen is also an intern at the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra and is an RMU Freshman Mentor. On campus she is involved in many organizations. These include: the Pre-Law Society (president). Phi Beta Lambda (vice president), College Republicans (vice president), Colonial Ambassadors, NSCS, NSLS, History Club, and the Colonial Theatre Players.

Treadwell Lewis
A junior business major with a concentration in finance at Robert Morris University, Treadwell is a staff writer for “The Sentry.”
In addition to his involvement with “The Sentry”, he is a member of the Robert Morris men’s basketball team and is actively involved in campus activities. He is a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC) and is in a leadership position in Chi Alpha campus ministries association.

Mike Funyak
A freshman business major with a concentration in marketing at Robert Morris University, Mike is a contributor for “The Sentry.”
In addition to his involvement with “The Sentry,” he is actively involved and works with RMU-TV and RMU Live Sports productions. Mike is also the host for “Are You Experienced?” on RMU Radio and is a member of Voci Italiane, Nonprofit Leadership Alliance Program, and RMU Catholic Campus Ministry.

A freshman biology education/pre-pharmacy major at Robert Morris University , Ryan is a first year contributing writer for the news and opinion sections of the student-run newspaper, “The Sentry.”
Ryan is also a member of the RMU Jam Blues Marching, Jazz, and Pep Bands as well as the RMU Concert Choir and Mosaic.

Marissa Homer
A sophomore communications major with a focus in advertising, Marissa is a first year Advertising Manager for “The Sentry.”
Along with being a member of “The Sentry” staff, she also volunteers in various organizations in her community and is an employee at Panera Bread and Michael’s Hairloft.

Jonathan Fisher
A freshman communication major with a concentration in journalism. Jon is a staff writer of the sports/opinons section for RMU’s student run newspaper, “The Sentry.”
In addition to writing for the university’s paper, he serves as a Featured Columnist for Bleacherreport.com’s WWE section, and also manages the BR_WWE twitter page. He works for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review as a stringer, in the high school sports section. He plans to graduate from Robert Morris and head into the world of sports broadcast/journalism.

Brooks Bratten
A junior communication major with a concentration in journalism at Robert Morris University, Brooks is a sports writer for “The Sentry.”
In addition to his writing duties, he is actively involved in the broadcast journalism field as well. He produces and hosts “Ice Talk” on RMU Radio and works on three different shows for RMU-TV. He associate produces and anchors “Colonial SportsCenter,” produces and hosts “Campus Stories,” and reports on sports for “RMU-Live.” Brooks is also an on-air talent for RMU Live Sports productions and does some public address work for various RMU athletic events.
Outside of school, he referees youth ice hockey games and coaches T-ball in the summer. Brooks also has a healthy obsession with hockey and loves Italian food.

Sabine Cherenfant
A senior journalism major at Robert Morris University (RMU), Sabine is currently the Opinion Editor and a staff writer for RMU’s student run newspaper, “The Sentry.”
Sabine is also the executive vice-president of Lambda Pi Eta , the secretary of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, and a member of the Society of Collegiate Journalists and the Honors Program.
She is also the current undergraduate assistant for the Council on Institutional Equity at Robert Morris University.

Matt Polaski
Matthew Ian Michael Polaski is a senior at Robert Morris University getting a B.A. in graphic design with a minor in photography. Matthew is the Photo Editor for “The Sentry” and is also involved in various clubs and societies on campus. These include the Photo Club, The Claddagh Club and The Society of Collegiate Journalists (SCJ).
Matthew plans to start his own design studio after college and settle down in a new city.

Sybile Cherenfant
A senior journalism major at Robert Morris University, Sybile is currently the Features Editor and a staff writer for RMU’s student-run newspaper, “The Sentry.”
Sybile is also the executive vice-president of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, the secretary of Lamba Pi Eta, and a member of the Society of Collegiate Journalists, Carpe Mundum, Student Alliance for Equality and the Honors Program.
She is also part of the committee for Moon Township Relay For Life.

Brooke Smith
A sophomore journalism major at Robert Morris University, Brooke serves as the Sports Editor, part of the layout staff, and a staff writer for RMU’s student-run newspaper, “The Sentry.”
In addition to writing for the university’s paper, she is a member of the Society of Collegiate Journalists, one of the Resident Assistants in Concord and an active member of the RMU webstreaming team that produces live sporting events.
Brooke also compiles the statistics and proof reads the Pittsburgh Penguins IceTime programs that get handed out to fans at each home game.

Jordann Garlock
Jordann is a senior at Robert Morris University, studying communications with a concentration in journalism. She is also pursuing a minor in sports management.
She spent one month studying abroad in Finland and currently, writes and serves as the Assistant Advertising Manager for “The Sentry.”
She does sports webcasting for the university as well.

Alyssa Benson
A senior communication major with a concentration in journalism and a minor in public relations, Alyssa is the Copy Editor, a staff writer, and a member of the layout staff for RMU’s student-run newspaper, The Sentry. She previously held the position of Assistant Sports Editor for the fall semester.
Also, Alyssa is a stringer for The Pittsburgh Tribune Review in the sports department. In addition to writing for the university’s paper, she serves as the secretary of the Society of Collegiate Journalists. She also is a member of the web-streaming program that live streams athletic events for the public to view.

Andrea Zanaglio
A sophomore journalism major at Robert Morris University, Andrea serves as the Assistant News Editor and a staff writer for RMU’s student run newspaper, “The Sentry.” She previously served as the News Editor from spring 2011 to fall 2011.
In addition to writing for the university’s paper, she is a member of the Society of Collegiate Journalists, National Society of Collegiate Scholars, National Society of Leadership and Success, National Residence Hall Honor Society and Voci Italiane, RMU’s Italian American Club, which she serves as the club’s secretary.
Andrea also regularly volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and serves as a peer tutor for RMU’s Center for Student Success.
