Throwing a New Year’s Eve party? Going to a friend’s? Staying in your pj’s and watching the ball drop from home? Explore some of the most popular NYE tips and ideas from Pinterest.

Pinterest has quickly become a popular source for users to organize personal thoughts, ideas or favorite things onto virtual bulletin boards. With the website’s success come the highly popular hits circulated around pinners. Because the New Year is quickly approaching, however, Pinterest has exploded with many different holiday-themed pins -from New Year’s Eve appropriate fashion ideas, to recipes and even DIY or crafts. Instead of searching the depths of Pinterest for hours, curl up with a cup of hot cocoa, hum a few lines from Auld Lang Syne and simply explore this list of some of the best New Year’s-specific pins.

Originally pinned from blog Bakingdom, blogger Darla makes it possible for underage New Years Eve partygoers to enjoy delicious, New Year’s Eve drinks too. Or, for those of-age guests who decide 2012 has been a hard year, just add a favorite liquor.

The blog, I am Baker, shares different dessert ideas that incorporate the numerical value of the year, “2013,” into the design of the cake or cookie.
