PITTSBURGH — Road crews will canvas the Pittsburgh region to inspect the signs that hang over roadways for safety.
According to a statement from the PennDOT, crews will inspect signs in various location throughout Allegheny County during the week of Feb. 11-15. During the inspections, lane restrictions will be in place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Monday, Feb. 11
Highland Park Bridge (Route 1005) in each direction between Washington Avenue and Route 28
Tuesday, Feb. 12
Boulevard of the Allies ramps at the Liberty Bridge interchange
Wednesday, Feb. 13
40th Street Bridge (Route 2124) in each direction between Butler Street and Route 28
Clairton-Glassport Bridge (Route 2038) in each direction between Lincoln Boulevard and Route 837
Thursday, Feb. 14
Route 28 in each direction between the 31st Street Bridge/Strip District (Exit 2) and the Etna (Exit 4) interchanges
Southbound I-279 at the East Street (Exit 4) off-ramp
I-279 High Occupancy Vehicle Lanes at Perrysville Avenue (Exit 5)
McKees Rocks Bridge (Route 3104) in each direction between Route 51 and Route 65
