Reason we chose it: It’s the ultimate movie all about Valentine’s Day, so why not?
Nicholas Sparks Movies: The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, The Lucky One, etc.
Descriptions: These “tear jerker” films tug at the heartstrings with stories of true love that are sure to make it seem unforgettable.
Reason we chose it: Nicholas Sparks rarely disappoints with his books turned movies that not only show the struggles of true love, but also the tragic consequences that can arise while fighting for it.
Something Borrowed (2011)
Description: This romantic comedy raises the question of whether love is more important than friendship when forever single Rachel falls for her best friend’s fiancé.
Reason we chose it: Not only can this be a perfect chick flick, but the comedy aspect is also great for guys who don’t want to sit through the normal sappy love story.
50 First Dates (2004)
Description: Finding love is hard enough; imagine finding the one only to have her forget you every time she falls asleep. This romantic comedy shows just how much love can be worth fighting for.
Reason we chose it: Similar to Something Borrowed, this romantic comedy can double as a chick flick or a funny movie for couples, and who doesn’t love Adam Sandler?
