247 Fighting Championships Introduces Sunny Days Arena at The Venue

After the sudden news of the Monroeville Convention Center’s closure plans on Monday, February 12, an event planning company has stepped up.

247 Fighting Championships is a Canonsburg-based company that provides MMA entertainment to the Pittsburgh area as a premier combat sports organization. Following the news of the Monroeville Convention Center’s decision to close, 247 Fighting Championships are proud to announce their new event space: Sunny Days Arena at The Venue.

The new space is located in the historic Phoenix Theatres building in North Versailles. They aim to open in the summer of 2024, which overlaps with the planned closure of the Monroeville Convention Center. Sunny Days Arena aims to serve as a new home for small to mid-sized events, offering a solution for those impacted by the recent events at Monroeville.

Hunter Homistek, the general manager of 247 Fighting Championships, is excited about the partnership, “We are thrilled to announce that Sunny Days In-Home Care, a steadfast supporter of 247 FC from our inception, has acquired the naming rights for the event space in a landmark deal.
