For the Fall 2023 semester, RMU welcomed Dr. Nicolas Bogs as the Rooney Scholar. Thursday, September 28th from 3:30 to 5:00 in Hopwood Hall, the Center for Global Engagement will be hosting Rooney Lecture: Beyond Autobahn and Oktoberfest with Dr. Nic.
Dr. Nic will talk about the cliches of Autobahn and Oktoberfest. He explains, “Especially in times of Oktoberfest, the audience will be surprised as I unfold and explain unknown but fascinating aspects of Germany.” Dr. Nic will also speak on the culture and business ways of Germany.
He will talk about the relations between the United States and Germany. Hear about Dr. Nic’s experience in the corporate and academic worlds. Other topics could include business management, changes in academics, corporate culture, and research and intellect. He states, “I will present some rather personal links to make my field of academic interest and research even more fascinating.” Come to the event to learn more about Germany and participate in audience interaction.
