An SUV collided with a sewage truck in Union Township, Lawrence County, on Monday afternoon. Three people endured minor injuries.
The crash took place around 2:30 p.m. along Route 422 and Old Youngstown Road.
Union police spoke with Pittsburgh’s Action News 4 and said a women who was driving an SUV pulled into the path of a Dalton Sanitation truck which was carrying a raw load of sewage that the company just picked up from a nearby resident.
The sewage truck rolled over due to the impact of the crash.
Two people were inside of the sewage truck, and the woman in the SUV suffered minor injuries in result of the crash.
Officials did not mention if any people were taken to the hospital.
Police stated that no sewage escaped from the truck, and another tanker was brought in to pump the other load.
No serious injuries were reported.
