A warning from the RMU Chief of Police about solicitors is the latest announcement from campus police.

Chief Jeff James and Maureen Keefer, the Dean of Students, sent an email to all faculty, staff, and students.

RMU requires organizations to have permission prior to coming to campus to sell or market items and services. Solicitors are required to stay in specific areas on campus and will never be allowed in residence halls.

Faculty, staff and students are strongly encouraged not to approach possible solicitors and are urged to report any suspicious activity to campus police.
