We are about three months in on the release of Hogwarts Legacy and I must say that the game has seen its controversy, however, it is quite the masterpiece.

I fully excepted the game to be a story mode based on the story of Harry Potter, but the brand-new story we got was incredible. From getting chased by a dragon to being a fifth-year student, I never expected the game to be like that.

I also like that the game is an open world adventure. There are rarely any screens to load your game as it so much more of a run and explore adventure game.

I was surprised to not see any of the actual teachers in the game either. I do like the story as a whole.

The one aspect of the game that I believed lacked was the gear that you could get in the game. I just feel like there could have been more gear added to the game. Staying on the topic of the gear in the game, I feel like it just did not make a difference in the game whatsoever. I just felt like the damage was the same and it never changed. I never felt any real impact on the game with what gear I had on in my opinion.

I also do not like that there is no quidditch.

Moving on, there is so much more to offer than the main story, there are hours and hours of side quests that are so much fun. The side quests are what give this game life as you get to explore some of the map that you never thought you would see.

The level of detail in the game is incredible. The graphics in this game are breathtaking. The open world mixed with the graphics and level of details in the game is incredible.

Overall, I think the game is a solid one, but could use a little more in gear development. I would also like to learn a lot more spells than the ones we are given because it just seems that the ones that we do learn are going to be used in the next part of the story. I would say the game is solid but needs some help.
