Rapper Lil Tjay to Make Stop at UPMC Events Center

New York City, rapper Lil Tjay has announced a tour stop at the UPMC Events Center on May 19.

The concert will come amidst his European “Born 2 Be Great Tour.” Prior to his stop in Moon Township, Lil Tjay will perform in France. He will have nearly a month off before taking the stage at the UPMC Events Center.

After starting his career on SoundCloud, Lil Tjay has grown to prominence over the past few years thanks to his debut album True 2 Myself. The project peaked at number five on the Billboard 200.

In 2020, Lil Tjay released 20/20 and Zoo York, a drill rap influenced song that featured Fivio Foreign and the late Pop Smoke.

Lil Tjay’s highest charting single came in Feb. 2021 when he released “Calling My Phone” featuring 6lack which quickly rose to popularity. The song debuted at number three on the Billboard Hot 100.

Earlier this year, Lil Tjay teased that he has begun to work on a new project with a release date still unknown.

Pre-sale tickets for Lil Tjay’s stop at the UPMC Events Center will begin on Wednesday at 10 a.m. General admission tickets will go on sale on Friday at 10 a.m.
