This Week On Campus: 2/28/23-3/4/23

This week, several organizations are hosting events to round out Black History month and welcome in Women’s History month. Check out what is happening on campus this week below:

Feb. 28, 2023: On Tuesday at 4:30 p.m., the Colonial Catholic Ministry will be hosting an event called Spirituality in the Real World. The event will feature a presentation from Rev. Herb Tillman. There will be refreshments at the presentation. Students who choose to attend the event will also receive SET Credit under the Professional Development category.

March 1, 2023: On Wednesday from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., Strong Women Strong Girl will be hosting a spin class in the campus Recreation Center spin room to celebrate the beginning of Women’s History Month.

March 1, 2023: Also on Wednesday, Robert Morris Collegiate 100 will be hosting an event called Black Friends Meet in the Hale Center from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The event will encourage socialization and making new friends while also discussing important topics.

March 2, 2023: On Thursday, the Robert Morris University Honors Program will be offering students the opportunity to learn about how other cultures celebrate weddings. The online roundtable will focus on on the difficulties of holding a traditional Hindu wedding in Pittsburgh. Students can RSVP for the online roundtable discussion at revolution.rmu.edu.
