On Sunday, pop superstar Taylor Swift made an appearance at Arrowhead Stadium during the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Chicago Bears. This is a big deal because rumors have been circulating since July of whether Travis Kelce, tight end for the Chiefs, and Taylor Swift are together or not.

In July, Kelce sparked the relationship rumors on his podcast “New Heights.” Kelce said he attended Swift’s show at Arrowhead during her Eras Tour, and revealed he was disappointed when he wasn’t able to give her a friendship bracelet he made with his number on it. Kelce’s older brother, Jason, joked and asked if it was his jersey number or his phone number. The younger Kelce responded with a smirk saying, “You know which one.”

Fans of Kelce and Swift were intrigued by the confession from Kelce and were already shipping them. However, fans weren’t thinking too much about their suspected relationship until Kelce went on The Pat McAfee Show on September 21st. McAfee confronted Kelce about Swift on the show and said he thinks it’s hilarious how much traction his comment on his podcast had gotten. He also confessed that he sent her an invitation to his next home game.

“I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead, you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead and see which one’s a little more lit,” Kelce said. “So we’ll see what happens in the near future.”

Swift took his invitation and made an appearance at his game. She sat in the arena’s box seats with Kelce’s mother, nicknamed “Mama Kelce” by fans. Swift seemed to be having a fun time during the game, and most of the game’s coverage was on her. Swift and Kelce left together after the game, driving away in Kelce’s 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle convertible.

ET reported that Kelce rented out the restaurant Prime Social Rooftop after the game for his teammates and family, Swift unsurprisingly also attended the party. An eyewitness at the restaurant saw Kelce and Swift interacting throughout the night. The source told ET, “The two were very affectionate with one another but kept things fun and lighthearted.”

There is still no confirmation from either Kelce or Swift on whether they are in an official relationship or not.
