Today marks the 10th anniversary of 9/11, a day etched into the memory of every American.
Robert Morris University student, faculty and staff took a moment to recall where they were on that day just ten years ago.

I was teaching at Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA, which is just a little over two hours outside NYC. I was in my office when I heard and immediately went over to the television studio on campus to watch the coverage, where I watched the towers come down live. I remember walking across the campus afterward and just looking at the sky the entire time, as if waiting to see the next doomed plane overhead.

I was in the 4th grade. We had a field trip schedule that day to the art museum, but it got cancelled. My class and I watched the tragedy on the t.v. in school until we were sent home early.
