On the hunt for a home in Moon

The dream realtors give their clients when they find that new home is rewarding, area realtors say. And Moon Township has a lot to offer when it comes to real estate at this time.

There are new, modern homes. There are older, more traditional homes with an abundance of character. The different types of homes matters, said Austin Phillips, a township resident who is studying the real estate industry.

“The most unique thing that the Moon’s real estate market has to offer is a variety of homes, not just in price, but in style,” he said.

Moon is known for having a wonderful school district. Its location to the city and airport is convenient for people, which is why it is a location desired by many.

There is a real sense of community that has been built around the Coraopolis, Sewickley, Moon, and Robinson area. Niko Corado a Moon Township resident and real estate agent, says the diversity of available homes and the interest in living in this area means he and his fellow agents are always busy.

“A real estate agent doesn’t work 9 to 5; they work a 24-hour schedule,” Corado said. It is a client based business so whenever a client has an inquiry it is our job to be there.”

Corado also says from experience “in the business of real estate, being the smartest guy in the room does not matter as much. It’s the guy who can build relationships and who has the most contacts, and best reputation that will make them most successful.”

Moon Township continues to diversify, and more people are coming to the area. That means quality realtors can bring solid sales and great reviews about the area.
