Boyce Park ski and snow tubing area announces opening day

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh ski and snow tubing area Boyce Park announced their opening day on Thursday.

In a statement sent to the media, the Allegheny County Parks Department released that Boyce Park will open at 3:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.

The areas snow tubing park will also open Friday at 4:30 p.m. According to a press release, Boyce Park features the steepest snow tubing hill in Western Pa.

Boyce Park plans to have the ski slopes open to skiers and snowboarders Monday through Friday from 3:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday from 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. through mid-March.

Every Wednesday, Boyce Park will offer 50 percent off ski tickets for all visitors, excluding Dec. 26.

Adult ski tickets range from $16 to $22 for Allegheny County residents.
