1/08/2022: Fire Alarm-Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be a student cooking hamburgers. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. The case is closed.

 

1/09/22: Fire Alarm-Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Lexington Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be a student cooking. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. This case is closed.

 

1/10/22: Property Damage (misc. item(s)): RMU Police discovered the front doors to the John Jay Center had been ajar and out of alignment. Pictures were taken. RMU Maintenance was notified and were able to fix the doors so they could close properly. The case is closed.

 

1/10/22: Departmental Information: RMU Maintenance reported their work vehicle stolen from Yorktown Hall. It was discovered a student had mistakenly drove off in the vehicle instead of the Residence Life van. The vehicle was returned and Maintenance was notified. This case is closed.
