11/06/18- Hazardous Conditions- Officers noticed Bricks on the flooring of the front patio of Franklin falling in. Maintenance notified. (closed)

11/06/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a Fire Alarm in Lexington Hall due to burnt food. Officers request the Fire Dept to ventilate room. No damage to property. Fire Panel reset. (closed)

11/06/18- Damage to Unattended Vehicle- Student reports that she found a dent and scratches on her vehicle, after it was parked in the CFL lot. Pictures and report taken for insurance purposes. (closed)

11/06/18- Lost Property- A faculty member reports that he lost the keys to his offices. Report forwarded to the Locksmith. (closed)

11/07/18- Accident- This department was notified of a minor accident in the Jefferson parking lot. All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (closed)

11/07/18- Medical Emergency- PNC Café employee reported a male choking. Obstruction cleared upon officers’ arrival. Valley Ambulance notified and transported to hospital for follow up evaluation.(closed)

11/07/18- 302- Counseling Center requested officers for assistance with a 302 commitment. Individual transported by Police vehicle to the hospital without incident. (closed)

11/07/18- Medical Emergency- A patron at the Island Sports Complex was in need of medical attention. He refused an ambulance and was transported to the hospital by a parent. (closed)

11/07/18- Fire Alarm- Moon Dispatch reported a Fire alarm at Massey Hall. Maintenance advised that it was set off accidentally. Fire Dept. Cancelled. (closed)

11/08/18- Theft- A student reports unauthorized use of her Freedom card/Colonial Cash after misplacing her Freedom Card. Suspect identified and is required to make restitution. Case still pending adjudication. (open)

11/09/18- Damage to Unattended Vehicle- Student reports the rear bumper of her vehicle was damaged, while parked in the Student Center Lot. Report and Photos were taken for insurance purposes. (closed)

11/09/18- Disturbance- Report of an irate student in Patrick Henry Center. Student had already left at the time of report. This case is pending investigation. (open)

11/10/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a Fire Alarm in Concord Hall due to cooking. No sign of smoke or fire. Fire Panel reset. (closed)

11/10/18- Theft- Island Sports Complex reports a theft from the Pro Shop. This case is pending investigation. (open)

11/10/18- Disturbance- Residence Life reports a loud argument in Yorktown Hall. Officers
responded, got both parties to calm down, and no further action was required. (closed)

11/11/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be from the residents cooking. Maintenance was advised to reset the alarm panel. (closed)

11/12/18- Departmental information- This case number was entered for training purposes. (closed)

11/12/18- Departmental Information- A parent called concerned about their child who resides on campus, and not being able to make contact with them. Officers responded to the room and stood by until the parents arrived. No further action required from this department.(closed)

11/12/18- Smell of Marijuana- Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Ross Hall. Officers checked the building, and met with negative results.(closed)

11/13/18- 201 Commitment- The Counseling Center requested assistance with transportation for a mental health evaluation. Male transported to hospital by police vehicle without incident. (closed)

11/14/18- Medical Emergency- Employee injured from a slip and fall outside of the Business School. Female transported to the hospital for evaluation. (closed)

11/14/18- Smell of Marijuana- Residence Life reported an odor of Marijuana in Marshall Hall. Several areas checked by officers. Unable to locate source of smell. (closed)

11/14/18- Fire Alarm- Moon dispatch reported a fire alarm in Lexington Hall. Cause of alarm was excessive smoke from cooking. No Fire. Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm panel. (closed)

11/15/18- Smell of Marijuana- Residence Life reported an odor of Marijuana in Monroe Hall. Residents of the suspected room not present and unable to be reached. To be handled by Residence Life. (closed)

11-15-18- Theft- A Coach and student reported a theft from Rec Center Locker room. This case is pending investigation. (Pending)

11/15/18- Vehicle Accident- Employee reported he struck a parking gate with the snowplow in the Colonial Lot. Report taken for insurance purposes.(closed)

11/16/18- Departmental Information- The IT Department reported a phone line issue for all of campus, due inclement weather. An email was sent to the RMU community. Problem fixed. (closed)

11/18/18- Fire Alarm- Moon Dispatch reported a Fire Alarm in Salem Hall. Alarm caused by smoke from burnt food. Room ventilated and Fire Dept Cancelled. Alarm Panel reset. (closed)

11/19/18- Assist Another Police Agency- Moon police requesting information on a student. Information relayed. (closed)

11/19/18- Harassment by Communication- A male reported a social media scam and the individual is now harassing him. Male advised how to stop the communication and report the individual to the website administrators.

11/20/18- Disabled Vehicle- Officer offered assistance to a disabled vehicle on Campus Dr. Officer stood by until tow company removed the vehicle. (closed)

11/21/18- Trouble Signal- Guardian reported multiple trouble signals from the fire system at the Island Sports Complex. Maintenance advised they were working and shut off power causing the alarms. Guardian notified and the system put on hold during work. (closed)

11/21/18- Assist Another Police Agency- Coraopolis Police requested officers to cover one of their calls due to their officers were busy on emergency calls. (closed)

11/22/18- Found Property- Officer found medication on the sidewalk outside of Joe Walton Stadium. Logged and lodged in evidence for safekeeping. (closed)

11/24/18- Fire Alarm- Moon dispatch reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers responded to find the alarm activated by cooking. The Fire Dept was cancelled and the Fire panel reset. (closed)
