1/29/14 – Property Damage – A report was issued for damage to a window in Washington hall that was not done by the residents in the suite.  Pictures were taken and attached with the report. (Closed)

 

1/29/14 – Criminal Mischief – A student reported their tire slashed while parked at Yorktown. Two puncture marks were visible on the passenger side front tire.  Pictures were taken of the damage and a report was issued. (Closed)

 

1/30/14 – Accident – This department was advised of a motor vehicle accident on Massey Way and Campus Drive.  Both parties involved exchanged their information and pictures were taken of the damage.  A citation was issued for careless driving, and a report was written for insurance purposes.

 

1/30/14 – Medical Emergency – A student worker injured himself or herself while moving a basketball hoop in the Sewall Center.  Pictures were taken of the injury and a friend for treatment transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital. (Closed)

 

1/30/14 – Accident – An employee reported a minor accident involving their vehicle and another employee’s.  Pictures were taken of the damage and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)

 

1/31/14 – Departmental Information – A faculty member reported that they received a phone call that they may be a fraud, trying to gain personal information.  A report was issued and if anything further arises, an investigation will be conducted. (Closed)

 

1/31/14 – Departmental Information – Public Safety officers at the ISC received information that a juvenile In North Fayette Twp. was going to hurt themselves.  All pertinent information was obtained and forwarded to North Fayette PD. (Closed)

 

2/1/14 – Student Conduct – A student was escorted from the Men’s basketball game for inappropriate behavior towards the visiting team. This incident will be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

 

2/1/14 – Underage Drinking – While conducting dorm patrols in Washington Hall officers heard a lot of noise and things banging inside the suite.  Upon entry to the suite, there were multiple empty cans of beer, and the suite was in disarray. Ten citations were issued for underage drinking to the students present in the suite. (Closed)

 

2/2/14 – Student Conduct – This department was advised of a party in Washington hall.  Officers responded and dispersed the party, advising all involved that this incident will be sent to Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

 

2/2/14 – Departmental Information – A student called and reported to this department an incident, which occurred in the South Side.  The student was advised to contact the Pittsburgh Police department and relay the information to them since it occurred in their jurisdiction. (Closed)

 

2/2/14 – Departmental Information – This department was advised of a disabled vehicle on Pennsylvania Avenue.  Officers assisted in moving the vehicle out of the way of traffic until AAA responded to tow the vehicle. (Closed)

 

2/2/14 – Student Conduct – This department received a call for vomit in an elevator at Concord hall.  Officers reviewed the camera and were able to identify the student involved.  This incident will be dealt with through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

 

2/2/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a smoke detector activated in Concord hall.  Officers responded and found the alarm to be false.  The officers reset the system. (Closed)

 

2/2/14 – Smell of Marijuana – Officers responded to Yorktown hall for a smell of marijuana, and could detect a strong odor coming from the room.  Officers and Residence life searched the room in question, after gaining consent with negative results.  Both residents were advised this incident would be sent to Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

 

2/3/14 – Vehicle Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop in front of Sewall Center for a stop sign violation.  A citation was issued to the driver for having an expired registration. (Closed)

 

2/3/14 – Departmental Information – This department was advised that one of the shuttle van drivers was acting unusual.  Officers stopped the shuttle and interviewed the driver.  This incident is currently under investigation at this time, pending further information. (Open)

 

2/3/14 – Theft – A student reported their boots taken from outside a room in Ross hall.  The cameras identified a possibly suspect, and an investigation is pending. (Open)

 

2/3/14 – Lost Property – A student called and reported losing their wallet in Romo’s.  The cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate any suspect/s involved. (Open)
