3/29/16 – Disturbance – Officers were called to Concord Hall for a noise complaint.  Officers advised the occupants keep the noise down, which they complied.  No further action taken. (Closed)

3/29/16 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention in the Nicholson Student Center.  Valley Ambulance was notified and transported the student to Presbyterian Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

3/29/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop in the Wheatley Center parking lot.  The driver was issued was issued three citations at the conclusion of the stop. (Closed)

3/29/16 – Assist Another Agency – This department assisted the Moon Twp. Police Department with an accident investigation. (Closed)

3/29/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Salem Hall.  Officers responded and found the cause to be steam from the shower.  Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system. (Closed)

3/30/16 – Personal Injury – This department was notified of an employee who fell outside of Sewall Center.   A colleague took the employee to Sewickley Valley Hospital to be evaluated. (Closed)

3/30/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Campus Drive.  The driver received five citations at the conclusion of the stop. (Closed)

3/30/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Revere Center, which restored immediately.  Maintenance was notified and advised to contact this department if any further assistance is needed. (Closed)

3/30/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Campus Drive.  The driver was issued a verbal warning and released. (Closed)

3/30/16 – Hit And Run – This department was advised of a hit and run accident in the Gazebo parking lot.  The vehicle that caused the damage and left was located and the driver was issued three citations. (Closed)

3/30/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Campus Drive.  The driver was issued one citation at the conclusion of the stop. (Closed)

3/30/16 – Departmental Information – This department reviewed footage for the Wheatley Center cameras for an incident that was reported.  The results were forwarded to the appropriate department. (Closed)

3/31/16 – Theft – Several students reported money missing from their room at different times.  All pertinent information has been obtained, and this incident is being investigated. (Open)

3/31/16 – Assist Another Agency – This department assisted Moon Township Police with a report of a suspicious substance found near Braddock Hall.  The substance was retrieved, tested, and found to be negative for narcotics. (Closed)

3/31/16 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  The cause for the alarm was burnt food, and maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system. (Closed)

4/01/16 – Medical Emergency – Valley Ambulance notified of a female needing medical attention at Joe Walton Stadium.  Officers responded and met Valley Ambulance, who then transported the female to Mercy Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

4/02/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop in front of Marshall Hall.  The driver received three citations at the conclusion of the stop. (Closed)

4/02/16 – Smell of Marijuana – This department received a call for a smell of marijuana in Concord Hall. Officers checked the area with negative results. (Closed)

4/03/16 – Accident – This department was notified of a hit and run accident in the Washington Gravel Lot.  This incident is currently under investigation. (Open)

4/03/16 – Accident – A student reported damage done to their vehicle while parked on campus.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)

4/03/16 – Criminal Mischief – Maintenance reported a window broken at the entrance to Yorktown Hall.  This incident is under investigation at this time. (Open)

4/03/16 – Trouble Alarm – Maintenance advised they will be working on the air handlers at Yorktown Hall, and to disregard any trouble alarms they may be reported. (Closed)

4/03/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Yorktown Hall.  Upon officers, and maintenance arrival the alarm system had reset. (Closed)

4/04/16 – Departmental Information – Staff members of the Library wanted a report documented for an ongoing occurrence.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for information purposes at this time. (Closed)

4/04/16 – Retail Theft – Employees from the Food Court reported two males take items without paying.  This incident is under investigation at this time. (Open)

4/04/16 – Assist Another Agency – Allegheny County Courts and PA State Constable requested to review active warrants for potential students.  An officer assisted with the information. (Closed)

4/04/16 – Trouble Alarm –  Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Washington Hall.  Maintenance was contacted and were already aware of the alarm activation. (Closed)

4/04/16 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  The cause of the alarm was burnt food, and maintenance was notified to reset the system. (Closed)

4/05/16 – Disturbance – Officers were notified of people arguing in the stairwell of Braddock Hall.  Upon arrival officers found the parties involved, who were having a verbal argument. Both parties were separated for the night to avoid any further incidents. (Closed)

4/05/16 – Lost Property – A professor reported their purse missing from their office.  While officers were investigating, the professor called back and advised the purse was found. (Closed)

4/05/16 – Assist Another Agency – This Allegheny County Sherriff’s Department requested information on a student with a warrant.  An officer relayed the necessary information. (Closed)

4/05/16 – Lost Property – A student reported leaving their phone behind in the John Jay Center.  An officer located the phone and brought it back to the Police Station, until the owner returns to campus. (Closed)

4/05/16 – Fire Alarm – Moon Township Police Dispatch reported a fire alarm activated at Braddock Hall.  Officers responded and found the activation to be accidental.  Maintenance responded and reset the alarm system. (Closed)

4/05/16 – Departmental Information – Allegheny County 911 advised of receiving a hang up call from a campus phone number.  The number was checked and found to be accidental. (Closed)

4/06/16 – Departmental Information – A student requested officers assist in obtaining an item that leant out to another student who refuses to return it.  An officer accompanied the student and the item was returned. (Closed)

4/06/16 – Departmental Information – The Counseling Center advised of a student in need of a medical evaluation.  Valley Ambulance was contacted assessed the student, who then refused any further treatment. (Closed)

4/06/16 – Suspicious Incident – A student reported a male slumped over the steering wheel of a car parked in the CFL parking lot.  Officers located the vehicle and spoke with the occupant, who advised they fell asleep after a long day.  No further assistance was needed from this department. (Closed)

4/06/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop on Pennsylvania Avenue.  The driver received two citations at the conclusion of the stop. (Closed)

4/06/16 – Found Property – A Freedom Card was turned into this department.  The owner was notified and advised they had already received a new card and that the old one could be discarded. (Closed)

4/07/16 – Departmental Information – While on patrol and officer, found a vehicle in the Washington Gravel Lot without a license plate.  The owner was contacted and advised they removed the license plate and are making arraignments to have the vehicle removed. (Closed)

4/07/16 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student in need of medical attention at Yorktown Hall.  Valley Ambulance was notified, and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

4/07/16 – Stalking – A student reported being stalked by another student on campus.  An investigation was conducted, with a student being charged by this department. (Closed)

4/07/16 – Fire Alarm – Guardian Protection reported a system trouble alarm at Salem Hall.  An officer responded and found the cause to be burnt food.  Maintenance was notified and reset the alarm system. (Closed)

4/08/16 – Accident – This department was advised of a vehicle over the hillside below Joe Walton Stadium.  The driver lost control of the vehicle due to road being slippery.  The driver refused medical attention and stated he was fine; the vehicle was removed by AAA towing. (Closed)

4/08/16 – Accident – This department was notified of a minor accident in the Gazebo Parking Lot.  The driver of one of the vehicles was found to be in possession of marijuana, and was charged with Disorderly Conduct.  A report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)

4/08/16 – Property Damage – This department issued a report for damage done to a vehicle while parked in the Yorktown Parking Lot. (Closed)

4/09/16 – Departmental Information – A student reported that the ATM in Yorktown Hall looks as if someone was trying to break into it.  This incident is under investigation at this time. (Open)

4/08/16 – Departmental Information – A staff member reported finding multiple screws in their tire, after leaving campus.  The staff member requested this be documented in case it was done maliciously.  A report was issued for this incident. (Closed)

4/09/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian Protection reported a trouble alarm activated in Washington Hall.  Officers and Maintenance checked the system and found no cause for the alarm activation.  Maintenance reset the alarm system. (Closed)

4/09/16 – Criminal Mischief – Residence Life reported someone damaged the sign outside of Gallatin Hall.  Pictures were taken of the damage and an investigation is in progress. (Open)

4/09/16 – Medical Emergency – Officers were called to Lexington Hall for a student in need of medical attention.  Valley Ambulance was notified and transported the  student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment.  The student will be sent through Student Conduct for drug and alcohol violations. 4/10/16 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop in the entrance to Yorktown Hall.  The driver was issued a verbal warning and released. (Closed)

4/10/16 – Suspicious Incident – Maintenance reported a vehicle parked next to Sewall Center with a male slumped over the steering wheel.  An officer checked the area, and was unable to locate the vehicle in question. (Closed)

4/10/16 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian Protection reported a trouble alarm activated in Salem Hall.  Upon officers arrival the alarm system had restored to normal.  Maintenance was advised to check on the system. (Closed)
