8/18/14 – Welfare Check – A parent came to the station and requested assistance with contacting his daughter who was not responding to his phone calls.  Officers were able to make contact with the daughter and advised her to contact her father. (Closed)

8/18/14 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm in Hamilton hall, Officers responded and found the panel reading UDACT trouble.  Maintenance was advised and the alarm was reset. (Closed)

8/20/14 – Departmental Information – An officer viewed a vehicle run through a stop sign on Campus Drive near the back gate.  A traffic stop was conducted and the driver was issued a warning. (Closed)

8/20/14 – Motor Vehicle Accident – Two student workers were involved in an accident while on a golf cart.  Both driver and occupant sustained minor injuries and this department took a report. (Closed)

8/21/14 – Student Conduct – While on patrol, officers viewed a student who was on the PNG list for the residence halls outside of Concord hall.  The student was advised of the violation and sent through Judicial Affairs. (Closed)

8/21/14 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined that the cause for the alarm was steam from the shower.  Maintenance reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

8/22/14 – Departmental Information – This department was advised of a water leak in Sewall Center on the second floor.  The cause for the leak was an ice machine in the sports medicine room.  Maintenance was notified. (Closed)

8/22/14 – Welfare Check – While on patrol, an officer viewed an elderly female alone in a parked car on campus.  The officer stopped and checked on the female due to the hot temperature outside, the female advised she was fine and was waiting for her family to return to the car.  (Closed)

8/22/14 – Harassment – A student reported receiving harassing text messages from unknown numbers since the beginning of August.  All pertinent information was obtained and an investigation is currently under way. (Open)

8/22/14 – Power Outage – This department was advised of a power outage at the ISC.  All necessary notifications were made and the complex was shut down until the power was restored. (Closed)

8/22/14 – Student Conduct – Residence Life reported a large party in Washington hall.  Officers responded and shut down the party.  All parties involved were advised that they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for their actions. (Closed)

8/22/14 – Student Conduct – An officer stopped an individual for suspicious activity in the fire lane behind Washington hall.  Upon further investigation, the student was identified as being 21 yoa, but was in possession of alcohol outside which is not permitted on campus.  The alcohol was confiscated and the student was released. (Closed)

8/23/14 – Disturbance – This department was advised of a group of males being loud outside of Salem hall.  Upon officers arrival they encountered the group who was not being excessively loud.  Officers cleared without incident. (Closed)

8/23/14 – Departmental Information – An employee at the ISC reported a parent contacting them for information on their child’s hockey schedule.  The parent has a temporary PFA (Protection from abuse order) placed on them and the staff was unsure how to proceed.  A copy of the order was obtained and the parent is permitted to attend hockey games and practices. (Closed)

8/24/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a male student in the Nicholson Student Center complaining of dizziness and nausea.  Officers responded and the student did not require medical treatment, and was feeling better. (Closed)

8/24/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student passed out in Romo’s Café.  Officers responded and requested Valley Ambulance to access the student’s condition.  Valley Ambulance evaluated the student who refused treatment and was released. (Closed)

8/23/14 – Lost Property – A student turned in an IPhone that was left behind in Romo’s Café.  The owner came up shortly after and retrieved their phone. (Closed)

8/23/14 – Firm Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord hall.  Officers checked the room in question and found the alarm to be a false activation.  The alarm was reset by Maintenance. (Closed)

8/23/14 – Medical Emergency – Residence Life reported a female student in Hamilton hall complaining of a headache after being hit in the head earlier in the day.  Valley Ambulance responded and evaluated the student.  The student refused to be transported at that time, and both Valley and this department cleared. (Closed)

8/23/14 – Simple Assault – A student reported being slapped in the face while on the shuttle bus to Yorktown hall.  Officers responded and took all necessary information and an investigation is currently under way. (Open)

8/24/14 – Student Conduct – An officer viewed a male walking on campus that appeared to be intoxicated.  The male was stopped and was positive for being under the influence of alcohol.  The student was advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs for judgment. (Closed)

8/24/14 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student with a possible broken finger inside the Admissions office.  Valley Ambulance was contacted and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

8/25/14 – Accident – A student reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the Washington lot.  A note was left by the other driver with their information.  Pictures were taken of the damage and a report was entered for insurance purposes. (Closed)

8/25/14 – Departmental Information -A student reported damage done to their vehicle but was unsure when or where it occurred.   There were cameras available for the location the vehicle was parked (Braddock hall).  The cameras were reviewed and revealed that no damage was done to the vehicle while parked at that location. (Closed)

8/25/14 – Theft – A student reported that their flash drive was taken from a computer in the library.  The cameras will be reviewed in the area and the IT department was notified to assist in locating who was using the computer.  Investigation under way. (Open)
