09/19/17 -Theft- A student reported their catalytic converter taken from their vehicle, while parked in the Colonial Way Lot.  A report was issued and this incident is currently under investigation.(open)

09/19/17 – Medical Emergency- Officers were notified of a student in need of medical attention.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Children’s Hospital for treatment.(closed)

09/20//17 – Student Conduct-Officers were called to Ross Hall for a smell of marijuana.  One student will be sent through Student Conduct for their actions.(closed)

09/20/17 -Fire- Officers were advised of burning smell by Hopwood Hall.  The cause was found to be mulch smoking outside of the building.(closed)

09/20/17 -Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Washington Hall.  Officers checked the building and found the activation to be false.  Maintenance was advised of the alarm call.(closed)

09/20/17 –Fire Alarm-  Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Salem Hall.  Officers responded and found the cause to be steam from the shower.  Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system.(closed)

09/21/17 – Assist Another Agency- Coraopolis Police Department requested a female officer to assist in searching a female prisoner.  An officer responded and completed the search without incident.(closed)

09/21/17 -302- This department was advised of student in need of a medical evaluation.  The student was transported to Sewickley Hospital by Valley Ambulance.(closed)

09/15/17 -Theft- This department received a report of a theft of a catalytic converter from the Colonial Way Lot.  This incident is under investigation.(open)

09/21/17 –Departmental Information- This department created an information report for an employee who received a gift from a student.(closed)

09/21/17 -Lost Property- A student reported laundry missing from Washington Hall.  A report was issued, and this incident is under investigations.(closed)

09/22/17 –Medical Emergency- This department was notified of a student in Salem Hall in need of medical attention.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment.(closed)

09/23/17 -Student Conduct- Officers were called to Adams Hall for a party.  All parties involved were advised they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions, as well as receiving citations.(closed)

09/24/17 -Assist Another Agency- This department was given information on a possible sexual assault that occurred off campus.  All pertinent information was obtained and was forwarded to the appropriated department.(closed)

09/24/17 -Departmental Property Damaged-This department was notified of a camera with the lens removed in one of the residence halls.(closed)

09/25/17 –Departmental Information-This department was advised of a possible harassment situation outside of Yorktown Hall.  Both parties were contacted and notified to cease contact, or face being charged.(closed)

09/25/17 -Accident- Maintenance reported one of their vehicle being struck while parked on Campus Drive.  Minor damage was reported, and a report was issued for insurance purposes.(closed)

09/25/17 -Traffic Stop- An officer conducted a traffic stop.  At the conclusion of the stop, the driver received two citations.(closed)

09/25/17 -Jump Start- Officers attempted to jump start a vehicle on campus, but were unsuccessful.(closed)

09/26/17 -Student Conduct- Officers were called for a suspicious male at Yorktown Hall.  After investigating and checking with the male one citation was issued along with a trespass warning.(closed)

 09/26/17 -Lost Property- A male student was found to be visibly intoxicated outside of Sewall Center.  The male was issued a citation and lodged at Moon Twp. Police Department until sober.(closed)

09/26/17 -Medical Emergency- Officers were notified of a student in need of medical attention at Joe Walton Stadium.  Valley Ambulance was notified, and transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital. (closed)

09/27/17 –Property Damage- Maintenance advised of damage done to the loading dock wall at the Nicholson Center.  A report was issued. (closed)

09/27/17 –Property Damage-This department was notified of a minor accident in the Colonial Way Lot.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes.(closed)

09/27/17 -302-This department was advised of a student who was in need of a medical evaluation.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to UPMC Presby for treatment.(closed)

09/28/17 –Traffic Stop-An officer conducted a traffic stop off campus for a violation that occurred on campus.  Two citations were issued to the driver at the conclusion of the stop.(closed)

10/01/17 -Underage Drinking- Officers were called to Marshall Hall for an intoxicated male.  The male was brought back to the Police Department, where he was picked up by Valley Ambulance and transported to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment.(closed)

10/02/17 -Student Conduct-Officers were notified by Residence Life of finding suspected marijuana in a room in Yorktown Hall.  This incident will be sent through Student Conduct for disciplinary actions.(closed)

10/02/17 -Departmental Information-Officers were advised of a disabled vehicle on Campus Drive.  The vehicle was towed from the area.(closed)

10/03/17 -Welfare Check-This department was requested to perform a welfare check on a student in Hamilton Hall.  Officers spoke with the student and made arraignments for them to meet with the Counseling Center.(closed)

10/04/17 –Property Damage-An employee reported damage done to their vehicle while parked in the CFL#2 parking lot.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was filed for insurance purposes.(closed)

10/04/17 –Trouble Alarm-Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Salem Hall.  Maintenance was advised of the alarm.(closed)

10/04/17 –Traffic Stop-A traffic stop was conducted on Sewall Center Drive.  A verbal warning was issued to the driver at the conclusion of the stop.(closed)

10/05/17 –Departmental Information-This department was advised of a Parkhurst Employee falling in a hole in the Nicholson Center Parking lot.  No medical attention was requested at the time of the incident, and maintenance was notified to repair the hole.(closed)

10/06/17 –Student Conduct-This department was notified of patrons at the Island Sports Center not paying for services.  This incident involved a student, and will be sent through Student Conduct.(closed)

10/06/17 -Found Property- Money was found in the Wheatley Center and turned into this department.  The money was entered into evidence until the owner claims it.(closed)

10/06/17 -Disorderly Conduct-Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for a smell of marijuana.  Two citations were issued as well as this incident being sent through Student Conduct.(closed)

10/07/17 -Student Conduct-Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for a smell of marijuana.  All parties involved were advised they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions.(closed)

10/08/17 –Found Property-A wallet was turned into this department that was found in the Patrick Henry Center.  The owner was notified to pick up their wallet at the Police Department.(closed)

10/08/17 -Possession-While on patrol, an officer observed an occupied vehicle in a handicap parking space outside of Gallatin Hall.  Upon approaching the vehicle, the officer could detect an odor of marijuana coming from inside the vehicle.  Two citations were issued.

10/08/17 -Smell Of Marijuana-Officers were notified by Residence Life of an odor of marijuana in Yorktown Hall.  The parties involved were issued citations for their involvement.(closed)

10/09/17 –Suspicious Incident-This department was notified of a student entering someone else’s room and damaging property.  The student was identified and was issued a citation for the incident.(closed)

10/09/17 -Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  The cause for the alarm was the residents cooking.  Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system(closed)

10/09/17 –Welfare Check-This department was notified of a small child inside a car in the Lower John Jay lot without an adult.  An officer checked the vehicle and found a parent present with the child.(closed)
