9/29/15 – Disorderly Conduct – This department was advised of a male driving up to females and telling them to get into his vehicle.  Officers were able to locate the male and cited him for disorderly conduct and harassment. (Closed)

9/29/15 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Marshall Hall.  A coffee pot and curling iron were left on, and activated the alarm system.  Maintenance reset the alarm system and officers cleared. (Closed)

9/29/15 – Departmental Information – This department was advised of water leaking inside of Scaife Hall.  Maintenance was notified of the leak by this department. (Closed)

9/29/15 – Lost Property – A student reported losing an iPod Touch in the Jefferson Center.  The cameras will be reviewed in the area in an attempt to locate anyone taking the iPod from the building. (Open)

9/29/15 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a student in Adams Hall in need of medical attention.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

9/29/15 – Power Outage – A brief power outage occurred on campus do to a storm in the area. (Closed)

9/30/15 – Lost Property – A student reported losing their keys somewhere around Patrick Henry and the Gazebo parking lot.  The areas were checked with negative results, and the student was advised they would be contacted if the keys were turned in to this department. (Closed)

9/30/15 – Criminal Mischief – A report was issued for damage done to a vehicle while parked in the Wheatley Parking lot. (Closed)

9/30/15 – Suspicious Incident – While on patrol an officer viewed, three people enter the dugouts for the softball field.  The individuals were students and advised they were sitting there to get out of the wind. (Closed)

9/30/15 – Smell of Marijuana – Residence Life reported an odor of marijuana in Gallatin Hall.  Officers responded and found the room in question.  The occupant was found to be in possession of marijuana and paraphernalia.  A citation was issued for disorderly conduct. (Closed)

10/01/15 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a primary phone trouble alarm coming from the Chapel.  Maintenance was made aware of the alarm. (Closed)

9/30/15 – Access Device Fraud – This department is investigation an incident where a freedom card was used without the owner’s authorization. (Closed)

10/02/15 – Harassment – This department was advised of a harassment incident.  The suspect was spoken with by officers and advised to cease all contact with the other parties or face arrest.  The suspect advised officers that they would no longer contact the other parties. (Closed)

10/03/15 – Possession Of Marijuana – An officer noticed a suspicious vehicle parked behind Yorktown Hall.  Upon approaching the vehicle, two occupants were inside with suspected marijuana.  One will be receiving possession charges for marijuana, the other a disorderly conduct citation. (Closed)

10/03/15 – Suspicious Person – This department was advised of two males in dark clothing walking through the Colonial Way parking lot.  Both males are current students and were walking back to their dorm. (Closed)

10/04/15 – Traffic Stop – An officer conducted a traffic stop in the Nicholson Center Parking lot.  The driver failed to stop for a stop sign, and had an expired registration.  The driver was issued a warning for the violations. (Closed)

10/04/15 – Suspicious Person – This department was advised of three males inside Hancock Hall walking around and knocking on doors.  Officers responded and located the males who were non-students.  The males were taken back to the police station and picked up by a relative. (Closed)

10/04/15 – Disturbance – Officers were called to Salem Hall for a large crowd outside and a possible fight.  Officers arrived and found no fight in progress just a group of people yelling in the street.  All parties were advised to leave the area, and complied.  One male was argumentative and brought back to the police station. The male was released to a friend a short time later. (Closed)

10/04/15 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a late to test signal from the Alumni House.  Maintenance arrived and reset the alarm without incident. (Closed)

10/04/15 – Suspicious Person – Officers were advised of two suspicious males walking around Ross Hall knocking on doors.  Officers responded and found the males to be residents of the building.  No further action taken by this department. (Closed)

10/04/15 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  The cause for the alarm was burnt food.  Maintenance reset the alarm panel. (Closed)

 

10/04/15 – Alarm Activation – Guardian reported a pump failure alarm in the Chapel.  Maintenance responded and advised the Chapel does not have a pump, and that they will resolve the issue. (Closed)

10/04/15 – Departmental Information – While attempting to gain access to a student’s vehicle, one of the tool used by this department broke.  A report was issued for informative purposes and to replace the broken equipment. (Closed)

10/04/15 – Suspicious Incident – Officers were advised of a suspicious male in Yorktown Hall.  Officers arrived with Residence Life and located the male in question.  The male was advised that he is no longer permitted to be in Yorktown Hall and was escorted from the property. (Closed)

10/05/15 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Franklin Center.  Maintenance checked the system and attempted to reset the alarm with negative results.  A repair order will be put in to have the system checked. (Closed)

10/05/15 – Assist Another Agency – This department assisted Moon Twp. PD with an accident on University Blvd in front of the campus. (Closed)

10/05/15 – Fire Alarm – This department was advised of a fire alarm activated in Madison Hall.  Officers and maintenance checked the building with negative results and reset the alarm system. (Closed)

10/05/15 – Departmental Information – Residence Life requested assistance in locating a student in Yorktown Hall.  Officers assisted without incident. (Closed)

10/06/15 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a low battery signal coming from the alarm system in Franklin Center.  Maintenance was advised of the alarm call. (Closed)

10/06/15 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Concord Hall.  Upon officers arrival the system was reading normal.  Maintenance was notified and reset the alarm system. (Closed)

10/06/15 – Theft – A student reported their sunglasses taken from the Jefferson Center.  The cameras will be reviewed in an attempt to locate any suspect/s involved. (Open)

10/06/15 – Departmental Information – This department was requested to stand by when the labs are closing in the Jefferson Center.  Officers assisted without incident. (Closed)

10/07/15 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined that the cause was burnt food.  Maintenance was notified and reset the alarm system. (Closed)

10/07/15 – Departmental Information – A student wanted a report on file in reference to a roommate conflict.  All pertinent information was obtained a report was filed for information purposes. (Closed)

10/07/17 – Theft – A student reported money taken from their wallet while it was in their dorm room.  All pertinent information was obtained and an investigation is in progress. (Closed)

10/08/15 – Accident – This department was advised of a hit and run accident in the Yorktown Parking lot.  The victim’s information was obtained, and pictures were taken of the damage.  The suspect driver was identified and will be charged accordingly. (Closed)

10/08/15 – Departmental Information – This department was advised of a picture falling in the lobby of Yorktown Hall.  Officers removed the picture and cleaned up the glass, maintenance was advised. (Closed)

10/08/15 – Trouble Alarm – Guardian reported a trouble alarm activated in Hale Center.  The building was checked with negative results, and maintenance was notified of the alarm activation. (Closed)

10/09/15 – Assist Another Agency – This department assisted Moon PD with an abandoned 911 phone call.  Officers checked the area with negative results, but were able to pass on information to Moon PD. (Closed)

10/09/15 – Medical Emergency – This department was advised of a female student needing medical attention in the Patrick Henry Center.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

10/09/15 – Found Property – Two cameras were turned into the department that have been left behind in the Wheatley Center for over two weeks.  The cameras have been placed into lost and found until the owner claims them. (Closed)

10/09/15 – Accident – This department was advised of an accident in the Washington Gravel parking lot.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)

10/10/15 – Found Property – A purse was turned into the department that belongs to an RMU student.  The student was notified and picked up their purse. (Closed)

10/10/15 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Lexington Hall.  Upon officers arrival it was determined that the cause was burnt food.  Maintenance was advised and reset the alarm system. (Closed)

10/10/15 – Fire Alarm – Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  Upon officers arrival it was found that the alarm was activated by the students cooking.  Maintenance was advised and reset the alarm system. (Closed)

10/10/15 – Student Conduct – This department was advised of a suspicious occupied vehicle in the Yorktown Parking lot.  Officers found the vehicle and the occupant was underage and under the influence of alcohol.  The student was transported back to their dorm and advised they would be sent through Judicial Affairs. 10/11/15 – Accident – This department was advised of a minor accident on Concord Way.  The vehicle driver reported hitting the curb and damaging their wheel.  All pertinent information was obtained and report was issued for insurance purposes. (Closed)

10/11/15 – Medical Emergency – A student came to the Police Department seeking medical treatment.  Valley Ambulance transported the student to Sewickley Valley Hospital for treatment. (Closed)

10/11/15 – Found Property – A set of car keys were turned into this department, which were left behind on a shuttle bus.  The keys were entered into lost and found until the owner claims them. (Closed)

10/12/15 – Suspicious Incident – A student reported someone might have entered his or her vehicle while parked in the Student Center parking lot.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued. (Closed)
