On Monday, the Robert Morris Board of Trustees provided a presidential search update on where the university is regarding the search.

The announcement comes after it was announced that Interim President and Provost Mary Ann Rafoth would retire.

For the time being dean of the Robert Morris School of Business Dr. Michelle Patrick will assume the roles of Interim President and Provost.

The application process for potential candidates is still ongoing as the deadline to submit an application is May 1.

Following that on May 9, the presidential search committee will review all applications and select 10 to 12 candidates for the first round of interviews which will take place on May 23, and again on May 25.

The committee will then narrow down their field of candidates to three to four candidates for the second round of interviews which will be with the board of trustees and the university’s senior leadership team.

After the second round of interviews is complete the committee will then narrow the field of candidates down to one or two finalists which will be made by early July.
