RMU 4 (8-2-3, AHC 7-1-3), RIT 0 (3-8-2, AHc 3-3-1): Robert Morris began a two game series against RIT Friday in Rochester, New York and their weekend got off to a great start much to the excellent play of junior Terry Shafer in net. Shafer recorded the shutout denying all 37 pucks that came his way. RMU also got a good amount of offense as four different Colonials scored a goal. Sophomore Spencer Dorowicz netted RMU’s first goal in the first period and then fellow sophomore Brady Ferguson and senior Greg Gibson gave RMU a 3-0 lead in the second period with their two goals. Senior Zac Lynch then netted an insurance goal for the Colonials in the third period.
