Sports web streaming team is looking for new members

Robert Morris University is currently looking for new members to be active in their sports web streaming initiative.  This school year, there will be over 90 events streamed.

The web streaming team currently does live production for football, field hockey, volleyball, men’s and women’s basketball, men’s and women’s hockey, and men’s and women’s lacrosse.  Eventually, they are looking to stream games for even more of the Robert Morris University teams.

There will also be special features for all sports such as Athlete of the Week packages as well as coaches and player interviews.

Currently the web streaming team is looking for students that are interested in being play-by-play and color commentators, video editors, script writers, camera operators, and directors/producers.  Also, there are payment opportunities available for those interested.

There is no prior experience necessary to work with on the web streaming team.  All that is required is that you are dependable. This experience is truly a fun one (plus it looks great on a resume.)  Also, there are no prerequisites and any person in any major can join.

This online streaming is a fantastic way for students to gain experience if they are interested in broadcasting, photography, web design, social media, and more.

If you are at all interested in joining the web streaming team, please contact Kayla Crooks at [email protected] or (412) 608-5122.
