Three and a half hours and several dozen musical numbers later, the 85th annual Academy Awards have officially wrapped with “Argo” taking home the night’s most coveted award, Best Picture.

While many awards went to those predicted – Anne Hathaway for Best Supporting Actress and Daniel Day Lewis for Best Actor, a few surprises did happen. Christop Waltz won Best Supporting Actor for “Django Unchained,” and “Django Unchained” also caused an upset by winning Best Original Screenplay.

A tie, which has only happened six times before, occurred in the Sound Editing category, granting the award to “Zero Dark Thirty” and “Skyfall.”
