11/07/17 -Welfare Check- This department requested the Avalon Police Department perform a welfare check on an employee.  Contact was made by Avalon PD.(closed)

11/07/17 -Smell of Marijuana- This department was notified of a smell of marijuana in Adams Hall.  Officers checked the building with negative results.(closed)

11/07/17 -Student Conduct-This department was notified of students yelling outside of a room in Madison Hall.  Officers located the involved parties and advised them they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions.(closed)

11/07/17 -Student Conduct- Officers noticed a smell of marijuana in Adams Hall while walking the building.  The students involved were advised they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions.(closed)

11/08/17 -Medical Emergency- Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for a student in need of medical attention.  Officers assisted and offered to have an ambulance respond, but the student advised that they contacted an Uber to take them.  Officers stood by until the Uber arrived. (closed)

11/08/17 -Harassment- A student came in and reported a harassment situation with a non-student.  A report was filed and the non-student was contacted, and advised to stop all contact.(closed)

11/08/17 -Accident- This department was contacted about an accident in the Colonial Way parking lot.  All pertinent information was obtained and a report was issued for insurance purposes.(closed)

11/09/17 -Trepass Warning- Residence Life requested assistance from this department with a non-resident student living in Salem Hall.  Officers assisted and issued a trespass warning to the student.(closed)

11/06/17 -Departmental information- An officer working high school hockey at the Island Sports center and assisted with a dispute between a player and a referee.(closed)

11/09/17 -Traffic Stop- An officer conducted a traffic stop on University Boulevard for a violation that occurred on campus.  One citation was issued at the conclusion of the stop.(closed)

11/11/17 -Found Property- A wallet was found on one of the shuttle busses and turned into this department.  The owner was notified that their wallet could be picked up at the Police Department.(closed)

11/11/17 -Student Conduct- Officers were called to Yorktown Hall for a smell of marijuana.  Officers located the room in question and found only alcohol present.  The involved students were advised they would be sent through Student Conduct for their actions.(closed)

11/11/17 -Student Conduct- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated at the Rooney House.  Officers responded and found the cause to be a burnt candle.  Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system.(closed)

11/11/17 -Medical Emergency-A patron attending the football game was in need of medical attentions.  Valley Ambulance transported the female to the hospital for treatment.(closed)

11/11/17 -Lost Property- A student reported losing a book in the Nicholson Student Center.  All pertinent information was obtained, and a report was issued.(closed)

11/11/17 -Disabled Vehicle- Officers were notified of a disabled vehicle on Colonial Way.  The vehicle was towed to the Colonial Way parking lot.(closed)

11/12/17 -Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in Concord Hall.  Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food.  Maintenance was notified to reset the alarm system.(closed)

11/12/17 -Found Property- A maintenance employee dropped off items that were left behind at the REC Center.  The items were entered into lost and found until the owner come to claim them.(closed)

11/15/17 -Medical Emergency- A student was in need of medical attention in the Hale Center.  Valley Ambulance treated the student on scene.  Afterwards the student refused transport to the hospital.(closed)

11/15/17 -Departmental Information- A Parkhurst employee reported their wheel falling off while driving home from work.  It is undetermined if this incident occurred on campus or not.  A report was issued for informative purposes in the event of any similar incidents(closed)

11/17/17 -Departmental Information-The Counseling Center requested assistance in gaining information on an off campus incident pertaining to a student of the University.  This department assisted with obtaining the necessary information.(closed)

11/17/17 -Departmental Information-While patrolling campus officers came across a vehicle with heavy front-end damage and no license plate parked on campus.  Officers were able to locate the owner who advised they would have the vehicle removed asap

11/19/17 -Welfare Check- Officers were requested to perform a welfare check on a student in Gallatin Hall.  Officers met with the student and found that no further assistance was needed from this department at this time.(closed)

11/19/17 -Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activated in the Facilities Building.  The building was checked and found negative results for smoke or fire.  The alarm system was reset.(closed)
