MOON TOWNSHIP– On Oct. 28th, Robert Morris University brought some fall spirit to campus. The University hosted its very own pumpkin patch outside of the Residence Life office in front of Washington Hall. There were a variety of fall activities for students to participate in.

The patch of pumpkins was located on the grass lot beside Washington Hall. There was a field of hay with white and orange pumpkins that students could select from.

Next to the patch was a table full of acrylic paint that allowed anyone to add their own design to their selected pumpkin.

There were lots of fall treats available at the festival. One station served up some classic hot chocolate as well as buttered popcorn. Another table offered a wide variety of pies, such as apple, pecan, pumpkin and sweet potato.

The most unique food option was a station that had freshly sliced apples with caramel dipping sauce.

An essential part of the event was the non-alcoholic drinking contest. This allowed for the ten teams to get students to sample their creations and vote on their favorite. The winners of the contest each received $100 gift cards.

The pumpkin patch and other fall events took place over the course of three hours and gave students a way to relax after classes and enjoy all the things the fall season has to offer.
