Robert Morris University’s Residence Life hosted their second annual Beach Luau on Sunday.

President of Residence Life, Allison Ezbiansky, expressed how the luau helps to bring incoming students and upper classmen together.

“This is an event for freshmen to mingle and meet new people, but it’s a campus wide event so anyone can come. It’s a great way to get new people.”

Students had the opportunity to play corn hole, build sandcastles, have a water gun fight, takes some photos and get free Kona Ice. They also had a chance to win a gift card by guessing how many shells were in a jar.

Some students said their favorite part was, “getting a lei and seeing all the dogs.”
