This Week On Campus: 1/29/23- 2/4/23

Robert Morris University is hosting several events on campus this week. Check out the schedule for the week below:

Jan. 31, 2023: The Humanities department is hosting an opening ceremony for the current art gallery “Balanced Response.” The gallery is being jointly presented by the Robert Morris University’s Media Arts Gallery and the Associated Artists of Pittsburgh. The gallery focuses on main themes such as stillness and acceptance. The event is being held from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in art gallery located in the Wheatley Center.

Jan. 31, 2023: The Office of Residence Life is hosting NHL All-Star Trivia Night in the Ross Hall Lounge at 6 p.m. Prizes will be given out at the event.

Feb. 1, 2023: At 6:00 p.m. in the PNC Colonial Cafe Madame President Patrick and Chef Dan will be hosting a tutorial on how to bake cookies shaped like the beloved groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil. After the event, participants will get their very own groundhog cookie cutter. Spaces for the event are limited so participants are encouraged to RSVP at revolution.rmu.edu.

Feb. 2, 2023: From 7:30 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. Robert Morris University will be hosting a Groundhog Day Celebration at the gazebo. At the event, students can join Madame President Patrick as Punxsutawney Phil makes his much-anticipated weather prediction. At the event students, and staff can enjoy Punxsutawney Phil cookies, donuts, coffee, and cider.
