10/12/21: Missing Property: A student stopped by the Barry Center to report their weightlifting belt missing from the NAC Rec Center. Officers began reviewing the cameras. This incident was turned over to the Detective for further review. This case is closed.

 

10/12/21: Fire Alarm-Smoke Detector Activated: Guardian Protection reported a fire alarm activation in Concord Hall. Officers responded and found the cause to be burnt food. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. The case is closed.

10/13/21: Smell of Marijuana: Residence Life staff reported the smell of marijuana in Washington Hall. Officers responded and identified the proper suite. One student will be sent through Student Conduct for violating the drug policy. The case is closed.

 

10/14/21: Found Property: RMU staff located two raffle drums near the dumpsters at the Wheatley Center. Officers took possession and logged them into Lost and Found. This case is closed.

10/17/21: Welfare Check: A parent requested a welfare check on their student. Officers contacted Residence Life and responded to the room. Staff keyed into the room and found it empty. The parent called back later to advise they spoke to their student. This case is closed.

10/18/21: Suspicious Person: A student called to report a suspicious person in the Yorktown Hall parking lot. Officers arrived and were unable to locate the person matching the description. Officers checked the building to make sure it was secured. This case is closed.

Municipal Authority flushing fire hydrants. This caused the alarm panel to read “Water Flow”. RMU Maintenance was notified. The case is closed.
