Remembering 9/11 eleven years later

Andrea Zanaglio, Editor-in-Chief

This Tuesday marks the eleventh anniversary of September 11, 2001, a grave day in U.S. history that saw plans crash into the World Trade Center, Pentagon and an open field in Shanksville, Pa. Many will remember this day throughout the country with various events.

In honor of the thousands of innocent Americans killed in the terrorist attacks, Robert Morris University’s Chapter of College Republicans and the Army ROTC sponsors the 9/11: Never Forget Project and a 9/11 Remembrance Program on-campus each year to honor those who lost their lives.

To the right are photos from the display this year as well as some shots from the Shanksville crash site memorial.
