PITTSBURGH — Following the tragedy in Squirrel Hill at the Tree of Life Synagogue, Clearview Federal Credit Union had donated $10,000 to the Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh’s “Our Victims of Terror” fund through the United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania. This contribution is to go towards psychological services, support for families, reconstruction, additional security throughout the community, medical bills, and counseling.

The CEO of Clearview Federal Credit Union, Ron Celaschi expressed his deepest condolences to the victims and those affected by the tragedy.

“Pittsburgh is a close-knit community and seeing how the community has been able to come together during this time of grief shows how strong this city is.”

Clearview employees have the option to wear their favorite steel city team jersey to work to continue fundraising for the victims and families. Employees can donate $11 to wear the team jersey, 11 symbolizing the lives that were lost. All money raised will also go to United Way of Southwestern Pennsylvania’s collection for the Jewish Federation of Pittsburgh’s “Our Victims of Terror” fund.
