LIU Brooklyn 1 (6-5-2, NEC 3-0-0), RMU 0 (7-6-0, NEC 1-1-0): The Colonials traveled to Brooklyn Heights, N.Y. Friday for a battle with the Blackbirds. However, the blackbirds were able to pull out a slim 1-0 victory. LIU Brooklyn scored the what turned out to be winning goal in the 73rd minute. RMU failed to find the back of the net but they did total eight shots on goal. RMU goalie Brenden Alfery made six saves in the loss.
