The Premier Lacrosse League (PLL) unveiled the newest homes of their teams for their upcoming season.

The PLL is an outdoor lacrosse league founded in 2018. It is comprised of eight teams: the Cannons, Atlas, Waterdogs, Whipsnakes, Chaos, Outlaws (formerly the Chrome), Archers, and Redwoods. Before this announcement, each of these teams was simply ended with “lacrosse club,” and had no geolocation involved. Each season of the PLL these teams would travel to different stadiums nationwide. Now teams will have home cities just like any other sports league.

The home cities were announced on November 14th. The cities and teams will be Boston Cannons, New York Atlas, Philadelphia Waterdogs, Maryland Whipsnakes, Carolina Chaos, Denver Outlaws, Utah Archers, and California Redwoods.

Announced along with the home cities, the PLL announced a new division format. The teams will be Denver, California, Carolina, and Utah in the Western Conference, and Boston, Philadelphia, New York, and Maryland in the Eastern Conference. The teams will play each of their conference opponents twice, and their opposite conference once.
