Dana Davis netted two goals against Detroit Friday but the Colonials fell one score short of the victory.

Detroit 5 (4-4), RMU 4 (2-5): The Colonials took on Detroit on the road in Detroit, Michigan Friday afternoon. Unfortunately for RMU, the Colonials fell one goal short of earning their third victory of the season. RMU scored two early goals in the opening half from junior Katie Breeze and senior Brittany Byerly to take a 2-0 lead. Detroit then answered with a two goal run of there own to knot the game at 2-2. Sophomore Dana Davis gave RMU a 3-2 lead at the end of the first half when she found the back of the net. However, in the second half, Detroit scored three straight goals to take a two goal lead at 5-3. Davis capitalized on her second goal of the day at the 3:21 mark of the second half but Detroit held off the Colonials for the remainder of the game. Sarah Arnold received the loss for Robert Morris in goal as she made one save on the afternoon.
