Police were present near Slippery Rock University after a person was confirmed dead at University Edge Apartments, according to The Rocket.

Tuesday evening several students noticed a very strong odor and a large number of flies near the apartment. Maintenance staff found an approximately 40-year-old man who had been reportedly living in the building for around a year.

Officials have not yet released the identity of the man.
