On Wednesday, starting at 6 p.m. in the RoMo’s Cafe, Residence Life will be hosting its first ever Bobby Mo Gold Hunt.

The event is a scavenger hunt that will allow students to explore campus while searching for “gold.”

“It will lead students all throughout campus classroom and resource buildings to find ‘gold’ then end at the Office of Residence Life located in Washington Hall,” said Campus Advisor and Residence Life Head of Marketing, Olivia Carpenter.

Scavenger hunts have been held on campus before and proved to be a successful way to increase student interaction.

“Scavenger hunts are so successful because it gets students to not only interact with other students, but our campus as a whole,” said Carpenter. “It helps get students active in a fun and challenging way and helps them to find places on campus they may have never been before.”

At the conclusion of the event, the Office of Residence Life will be handing out prizes to students.

“We have an Xbox Series S, an Airfryer (approved by Residence Life for use in the dorms), and much more.”
