Top Halloween Costumes You Saw This Year

When looking for a costume for Halloween you can go multiple ways, you can follow trends, choose something spooky/scary, or something last minute and easy. Whatever your choice may be, these are the costumes that were done the most this year.

For these, I will do a few sections: Women’s Costumes, Men’s Costumes, and Couple Costumes. Let’s get into it!

Women’s Costume

1. Barbie: You’ve seen the movie, and even if you haven’t, you saw multiple women dressed up as their favorite Barbie. This costume is super cute and was done in so many different ways.

2. Wednesday Addams: The Addams’ family costumes have always been popular but after the show “Wednesday” was released, this costume specifically became more popular this Halloween.

3. Princess Peach: “The Super Mario Bros. Movie” hit the theaters as well this year and it reminded us how cute this costume is.

4. Fairy: This is an out-of-the-box choice but I personally saw this costume a ton this year. This is also very easy to do by getting wings. a pretty dress, and maybe even a flower crown.

5. Angel, Devil, Witch: I chose these as five because these costumes are fun, easy, and common plus they can be done in so many different ways.

Men’s Costumes

1. Ken from Barbie: This one to me was so obvious because of the movie, plus there are so many different outfits that can be chosen within the movie.

2. Oppenheimer: This movie hit the theaters at the same time as “Barbie” and this is an easy costume to recreate for the guys.

3. Sports players (Especially Messi and Travis Kelce): This is not only a common costume but an easy one. Just throw on your favorite player jersey and call yourself a sports player.

4. Spiderman: This is a common costume I see every year because Spiderman is known to be one of the most popular superheroes, but it’s also pretty easy.

5. Carmy from “The Bear”: This TV show became super popular this year and it’s a simple costume to recreate that most men have in their closet.

Couple/Duo Costumes

1. Barbie and Ken: This is the couple’s costume we all saw the most as it’s #1 on both my other lists but it’s also a very cute costume together.

2. Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift: Honestly this should be number one on the list but this is a costume for the sports guys and the Swifties.

3. Morticia Addams and Gomez Addams: Since “Wednesday” was released, I’m bringing back a common couple’s costume you see maybe every year but it’s easy and a very good pair.

4. Mario and Peach/ Luigi: This is also a common costume you see each year, but ever since “The Super Smash Bros Movie” came out you saw these costumes more this year.

5. Ariel & Prince Eric from “The Little Mermaid”: After this movie came out in theaters, I think this would be such a cute costume to bring back and do your own twist on.
