Multi-vehicle accident closes part of University Blvd.

MOON TOWNSHIP- At least one person was taken to the hospital following an accident on University Boulevard.

Moon Township Police responded to the accident that took place at the intersection of Grant Drive and University Boulevard at 2:31 p.m. Friday afternoon.

A dark grey Chevy vehicle and a black SUV were involved in the crash. The Chevy faced damage on the vehicles passenger side and the SUV was damaged in the front.

EMTs arrived at the scene and at least one person was taken to the hospital.

A relative of the the victims inside of the Chevrolet said that approximately four people were in the vehicle at the time of the accident.

Authorities were on the scene of the accident for approximately one hour. The driver of the SUV was able to remove the vehicle, but the Chevrolet had to be towed from the scene.

Police have not yet identified the cause of the accident.
