1/05/2023: Welfare Check: Caller reported a possible medical emergency in Lexington Hall. Officers responded and notified Residence Life. Medics responded and evaluated the student. The student was cleared to stay on campus. The case is closed.

 

1/06/2023: Found Property: Residence Life found a wallet in Yorktown Hall. The wallet is logged into Lost and Found. The student was notified. This case is closed.

 

1/08/2023: Medical Emergency: Allegheny County 911 reported a medical emergency outside the People’s Gate at the UPMC Events Center. Officers and medics responded. The patient was transported to the hospital by medics. The case is closed.

 

1/09/2023: Accident Involving Damage-Unattended Vehicle: A parent called to report damage to their student’s vehicle that was parked in the Lower John Jay Lot. The student returned to campus. All pertinent information and pictures were obtained for insurance purposes. This case is closed.

 

1/09/2023: Fire Alarm-Smoke Detector Activated: A student reported they activated the fire alarm in Concord Hall. Officer responded and found the cause to be a student using a hairdryer. RMU Maintenance was notified. The fire department was canceled. The panel was reset. The case is closed.

 

1/09/2023: Departmental Information: RMU Island Sports Center Public Safety Officer and Ohio Township Police escorted several juveniles out of the Clearview Rink due to profane language and inappropriate behavior. This case is closed.
