Robert Morris University tuition and fees to increase for 2019-20 school year

MOON TOWNSHIP – Robert Morris University’s cost of tuition and fees is set to increase for the 2019-20 school year.

Undergraduate students will be facing a $435 increase in their flat-rate tuition for the upcoming 2019 fall semester. The 2.9% increase will bring flat-rate tuition costs from $14,530 per semester to $14,965 per semester.

The 2018-2019 cost for individual credits of $930 will increase by 3.2% and rise to $960 per credit.

Housing costs are also expected to rise for the upcoming year with traditional double occupancy rooms increasing by 2% from $3,170 per semester to $3,235 per semester.

The cost for Yorktown Hall will be rising from $4,020 per semester to $4,100 per semester, resulting in a 1.9% increase.

On-campus apartments are set to increase by a total of $100. This 2% increase will result in apartment prices raising from $2,845 per semester to $2,945 per semester.

Certain student meal plans are also expected to increase. The Patriot (4.9%), Jefferson (1%), and Liberty (.9%) plans are set to increase while the Revolutionary, Revere, and Commuter plans will remain the same.

The Patriot plan will be seeing the largest increase, rising by 4.9% from $2,530 per semester to $2,655 per semester. The Liberty plan received the smallest increase, going up by 0.9% from $2,075 per semester to $2,095 per semester.

The Revolutionary plan, which is the highest meal plan available to on-campus students, will remain at $3,390 per semester. On the other end of the spectrum, the Revere plan, which is the lowest plan available to on-campus students, will stay at $1,680 per semester.

Meal plans for commuting students will not change from $775 per semester.
