The Superbowl Halftime show has seen the shining talents of many of the greats. From Michael Jackson, Prince, Beyonce, and even Snoop Dawg, the NFL Superbowl Halftime never ceases to entertain the millions watching. The 2024 Las Vegas halftime show is set to be just as impressive, as Usher announced his performance.

Sunday, September 24th, Usher released his announcement video to tell the world the news of his headlining opportunity. The video, as well as the performance, was sponsored by Apple Music. Through a collaboration with Kim Kardashian, the artist’s appreciation and surreal feelings shine through.

The video shows Kim calling Usher on the brand new iPhone 15, as she tells Usher that the rumors she heard are about his headlining. Through shock and excitement, Kim “puts that on her everything” as she reassures Usher of his opportunity. The video, as well as a pairing social media post, was shared everywhere, including the official NFL social media.

Usher is not without pressures, though. His performance will be the first show to follow the most-watched halftime performance of all time, as Rhianna’s performance got over 127 million views last year. Riding on the waves of his recent collab, “Dientes” with himself, DJ Khaled, and J Balvin, as well as the rerelease of his classic album “My Way,” Usher is ready to take the stage.
