MOON TOWNSHIP – A pedestrian walking on Campus Drive Tuesday night was injured after they fell.

The Robert Morris University Police Department told RMU Sentry Media that a young, unidentified male injured their back after falling in the middle of Campus Drive.

The injury occurred in front of the UPMC Events Center construction site where a paving project disrupted traffic earlier in November.

Police said that they were unsure if the person was a student. An officer said that they expect the student fell on the icy, snow-covered roadway while they were walking to Braddock Hall.

The incident that happened shortly after 8:30 p.m. closed the outbound lane of traffic.

EMS providers from Valley Ambulance Authority responded to provide medical care to the individual.
