11/27/18- Student Conduct Drugs- A Student reported a strong odor of Marijuana in Yorktown Hall. Two resident students sent through student Conduct for drug paraphernalia and underage alcohol violations (closed).

11/27/18- Medical Emergency- A Female in Nicholson complained of abdominal pain. Transported to hospital, via ambulance (closed).

11/27/18- Medical Emergency- Student Health Services reported a male with head pain and numbness. Requested an ambulance.  Patient transported to hospital, via ambulance (closed).

11/27/18- 201 Commitment- The Counseling Center requested assistance with a 201 commitment. Individual transported to the hospital for evaluation, via police vehicle, without incident (closed).

11/27/18- Medical Emergency- Moon Dispatch reported a male fell along Campus Dr. complaining of back pain.  Officers and Valley ambulance arrived on scene. The male refused medical treatment and transported to his dorm, via police vehicle (closed).

11/27/18- Fire Alarm- Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm in Concord Hall. Officers determined the cause to be cooking. The Fire Dept. was cancelled and the fire panel reset (closed). 

11/28/18- Medical Emergency- Yorktown resident complained of stomach pain. Patient transported to the hospital, via ambulance (closed). 

11/28/18- Vehicle Accident- A student reported a two vehicle accident on Colonial Way. One party fled. Vehicle tracked down via cameras. Insurance information obtained for repair purposes.  Verbal warning (closed).

11/29/18- 201 Commitment- The Counseling Center requested assistance with a 201 Commitment. The individual was transported to the hospital for evaluation, via police vehicle, without incident (closed).

11/29/18- Fire Alarm- Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers determined the cause was cooking. The Fire Dept. was cancelled and the fire panel reset (closed).

11/29/18- Student Conduct Drugs- Residence Life reported an odor of Marijuana in Adams. One resident student sent through student conduct for drug violations (closed).

11/29/18- Student Conduct Alcohol- Residence Life reported an odor of marijuana in Washington Hall. Only alcohol was found in the suspected room. All residents found to be underage.  Nine students sent through student conduct for underage alcohol violations (closed).

11/30/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall.  Officers confirmed the cause to be burnt food. Fire Dept Cancelled and the fire panel reset (closed).

11/30/18- 201 Commitment- Residence Life requested a welfare check on a Yorktown resident. This Individual agreed to being evaluated. Transported to the hospital, via police vehicle, without incident (closed).

11/30/18- Student Conduct Alcohol- Residence Life reported a female vomiting in Ross Hall due to alcohol consumption. All three individuals were underage with alcohol present.  The patient was transported, via ambulance, to the hospital. Three students sent through student conduct for underage alcohol violations (closed).

11/30/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall.  Officers confirmed the cause to be burnt food. Fire Dept. Cancelled and the fire panel reset (closed).

11/30/18- Student Conduct- Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Yorktown Hall. One Student sent through student conduct for Failing to Comply with University Officials. Residence life will follow up (closed).

12/01/18- Smell of Marijuana- Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Yorktown. Nothing illegal found at this time. Report documented for future reference (closed).

12/01/18- Personal Injury- Anonymous caller reported a male fell on the stairs at Franklin Center. Officer responded to find the male on his feet and refusing medical treatment. Male transported, via  police vehicle, to Massey Hall (closed).

12/01/18- Assist other police agency- Moon Police Dept. requested information on a resident student for an investigation. Information relayed (closed). 

12/01/18- Smell of Marijuana- Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Yorktown. Nothing illegal found at this time. Report documented for future reference (closed).

12/02/18- Motor Vehicle Accident- Officer came upon two vehicle crash without injury on Campus Dr. at the front entrance. Report, photos, and video footage obtained for insurance purposes (closed).

12/02/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm activation in Lexington Hall. Officers found the cause to be a faulty smoke detector.  The Fire Dept. was cancelled and maintenance notified for repairs (closed). 

12/02/18- Criminal Mischief- A patron of the Island Sports Complex reported his vehicle was vandalized, while at hockey practice. Officer found no actual damage to property, photos taken for report (closed).

12/02/18- Assist Other Police Agency- Moon Police Dept. requested assist locating an individual possibly walking near the back of campus. Officers checked the area for several minutes with negative findings (closed).

12/03/18- Property Damage- Parkhurst employees reported a delivery truck knocked over the Nicholson Center loading dock wall. Maintenance was notified, driver information and photos obtained for insurance purposes (closed).

12/03/18- Assist Other Police Agency- Moon Police Dept requested information on a student. Information relayed (closed).

12/03/18- Medical Emergency- Allegheny County 911 Dispatch reported a male with a shoulder injury in John Jay Gym. The individual was transported to the hospital via ambulance (closed).

12/04/18- Found Property- EST Staff turned in a bag that was left in Scaife Hall for approximately two days. Bag documented and logged into Lost and Found for safekeeping (closed).

12/04/18- Medical Emergency- Resident student reported a juvenile visitor with a medical issue. Legal guardian notified. Patient taken to hospital via ambulance. Residence Life notified of Unauthorized after hours visitor (closed).

12/04/18- Accident with unattended vehicle- A male reported that he hit a parked vehicle in the Sewall parking lot. Photos of both vehicles and information obtained for insurance purposes (closed).

12/04/18- Welfare Check- The mother of a juvenile female visitor reported that her daughter was possibly on campus and upset. She wanted her to come home. Officers checked several areas she could be with negative findings. Mother notified (closed).

12/04/18- Smell of Marijuana- Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Ross hall. Officers responded and checked the entire building. The source could not be located (closed).

12/06/18- Disabled Vehicle- Maintenance reported a disabled vehicle at the front entrance on Campus Dr.  Officers responded and requested a tow truck. Officers stood by to assist with traffic until the vehicle was removed (closed).

12/06/18- Accident with unattended vehicle- A delivery driver reported that he struck parked vehicle in John Jay loading dock. Photos and information obtained for insurance purposes (closed).

12/06/18- Fire Alarm- Residence Life reported that the fire alarm was going off in Lexington Hall.  Officer found the source of the alarm to be cooking. The Fire Dept was cancelled and the fire panel reset (closed). 

12/06/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers determined the smoke detector button was hit by accident. The Fire Dept was cancelled and the fire panel reset (closed).

12/07/18- Suspicious Incident- Administration reported receiving a suspicious email. IT and Police Investigation pending (pending).

12/07/18- Smell of Marijuana- Residence Life reported a smell of marijuana in Yorktown Hall. No odor detected. Resident given verbal warning for smoking tobacco in halls (closed).

 12/08/18- Assist other police agency- Moon Police requesting a female officer for assistance with a female prisoner. Assistance rendered without incident (closed).

12/08/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm malfunction signal in Yorktown Hall. Mechanical issue with sprinkler system. Maintenance notified. The system reset while on scene (closed).

12/08/18- Student Conduct Drugs- Residence Life reported two individuals smoking marijuana outside Ross Hall. Two students sent through student conduct for drug violations (closed).

12/09/18- Disturbance- Multiple callers reported a physical altercation outside Salem Hall. Individuals fled the scene. Athletics notified. Investigation Pending (pending).

12/09/18- Fire Alarm- Guardian reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers determined the cause was burnt food. No smoke or fire. The Fire Dept was cancelled and the fire panel reset (closed).

12/10/18- Accident with unattended vehicle- A delivery driver reported that he struck parked vehicle in the John Jay loading dock. Photos and information obtained for insurance purposes (closed).

12/11/18- Residence Life reported a smell of Marijuana in Yorktown Hall. Two students sent through student conduct for drug violations (closed).

12/12/18- Medical Emergency- Student Health Services reported a male having an allergic reaction. The individual was transported to the hospital via ambulance (closed).

12/12/18- Theft- A student reported that his headphones were stolen from the Student Rec Center.  Investigation determined that they were turned into the staff for safekeeping (closed).

12/12/18- Medical Emergency- A Patron of the Island Sports Complex complained of an ankle injury. The individual was taken to the hospital by a parent (closed).

12/12/18- Medical Emergency- Residence life reported a student took too many over the counter pills over a short period of time.  The Counseling Center was notified and the individual was transported to the hospital, via ambulance (closed).

12/14/18- Student conduct weapons- Residence Life reported finding a weapon in a student’s room during room checks. Officers confiscated the item. Student to be sent through student conduct (closed).

12/14/18- Medical Emergency- A female approached officers during high school basketball tournament in John Jay reporting a girl with an allergic reaction. On-site medics treated and transported the individual to the hospital, via ambulance. The parents were notified (closed).

12/15/18- Burglar Alarm- Guardian reported a burglar alarm in the Teetz house. Officers checked and found nothing suspicious and the building secure. Determined to be a malfunction (closed).

12/16/18- Fire Alarm- Moon Dispatch reported a fire alarm in Salem Hall. Officers determined the cause to be burnt food. Maintenance was notified and the Fire Dept. was cancelled (closed).
